"Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin. This 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity, while also improving the appearance of skin texture with continued use.
This formula contains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative to provide comforting benefits to the skin. It is further supported with inclusion of ginseng root and aloe vera for both visible radiance and soothing benefits.
This pH of this formula is approximately 3.6 and Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6. The pKa is the most important aspect to consider when formulating with acids as it implies acid availability. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximizing the effectiveness of the acid and reducing the potential of developing irritation. Higher pH values in such a case would increase the concentration of salt, which counter-intuitively would make the formula even more irritating than if the formula was more acidic.This formula contains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use. I am 22 years old. Recently I started to break out on my cheeks, forehead, and chin area and I was using CorsX, felt like it made it worse did nothing. But ive had the Ordinary Glycolic Acid sitting around I used it as a deodorant along with regular deodorant worked great. I started recently using it on my face every other day with moisturizer and sunscreen and my face has cleared up so much. It got rid of my cheek acne which is my most problematic area. I put a little bit on a cotton pad, go over my face, eye cream, moisturizer, and then sunscreen. I usually have oily skin but my oiliness has died down. A PERMANENT PRODUCT!!

Never ever have I had a breakout! This is horrible. I feel like a teenage boy with pimples all over my cheeks. I am so self conscious now it is ridiculous !! I followed the directions and used a cotton pad and lightly swept it over my face friday night which was now almost 4 days ago… and my face still looks horrible!! It better go away by friday. If anyone has any advice, please help!

I have nasty rosacea that leaves my skin very bumpy and red, ontop of hormonal acne. Ive tried pharma and the topical made my face feel oily and oral meds made me incredibly nauseous. I found this product on Tiktok and decided to give it a shot. I took my makeup off and washed my face with a gentle cleaner and then added this. The first time it burned a little but but went away within a minute. I have since been using this the same way everyday for 4 days. When I tell youbthat my face hasnt been this good in months, im teling the truth! I wish I could post a comparison pic because if I did, you would rin out and get it now!

A dermatologist recommended using this after a shower/soaking my feet before bed due to my calluses. After applying the acid in a light layer, I coat my feet in petroleum jelly & wear socks. My feet have never been so soft! I used to spend an annoying amount of time using a 100 different products that didn't do half the job The Ordinary Glycolic Acid does. I have sensitive skin yet no issues with this. A complete game changer!

This toner is great, but a bit strong for sensitive skin. I use it mostly every other night on my nose and chin area. It is helping to control the oil on my nose and minimizing my pores. This is my 2nd bottle and affordable.

Not for me, but it works GREAT for my boyfriend! I should have known that it may be too harsh for my skin since it is in the dryer side and super sensitive. This made my skin break out more due to my skin being so sensitive, but my boyfriend has oily skin and WOW. It works great for him. His skin is also nlt nearly as product sensitive as mine. I say, if your skin can handle it, it works. But, it's definitely is a little harsh for sensitive folks.

I am not one to leave reviews, although this product is a life CHANGER!!! You won't need deodorant ever again once you apply this to your underarms. As someone who struggles with super sweaty pits, deodorant can only do so much. I threw out my deodorants after this. This product also lightens and balances out your skin tone, rubbing dead skin away as well.

I read the reviews about it helping for odor. I originally bought it for my face and I do use it for my face and it works well my face is very smooth afterwards. I also use it on my armpits after I shower and I don't put any deodorant and I can go two to three days before I start to have odor. My boyfriend tried this as well he puts it on after he showers and he can go actually 6 days before having odor! With no deodorant either for any of those days!! This stuff works. I also started using it on my back because I used to have bacne when I was a teen and I have pigmentation. I noticed the spots lightning after three applications. I put it on my back after I shower. Definitely recommend and will be buying again on repeat.

I have been using the product consistently for about 2-3 months, I use it underarms and on face occasionally. I stated using it underarms to lighten and brighten the skin a bit but noticed no difference in color. I did give it 3 stars because I did notice I had no scent after sweating and not using deodorant so that is really great but was a bit disappointed in the fact it didn’t help brighten my skin. will continue to use to see if there is any difference.

This stuff has changed my skin. Even an esthetician complimented my skin and it's 100% because of this product. It does burn a little the first time but I just follow it up with hyaluronic acid serum and it soothes it. I'm pretty sure the burning just means your skin needs it. 😂

I am 47 and am proud to state that I don't have any wrinkles at this point. This is partly due to great genes and an excellent skincare regimen.
