Q: What size paper should I buy to use with this?

A: Any size. You can make crafts from book covers to holiday cards, etc. This is a great toy for anyone with horrible handwriting!
submitted byCalistro - 6 years agoA: You can use any size paper as long as it is big enough for the wheels to rotate around each other. I have used 8 1/2 x 11 and I have also used paper small enough to make a greeting card.

A: Hello and thank you for reaching out! To use this spirograph, simply place one of the Spirograph Precision Wheels inside of a Spirograph Precision Ring. Choose one of the 8 colored markers included and place the tip of the pen into one of the small holes in the Precision Wheel. Move the Precision Wheel in a circular motion around the Precision Ring to reveal your unique design! Try using different colors and shaped wheels to layer and customize your artwork. Don’t get this. Horrible design/concept. The putty doesn’t work to hold it in place (and dries out quickly). The markets dry out quickly. It doesn’t work. It’s frustrating, which makes it not fun. It’s nothing like the original.

I bought this for a senior client who loves to color and doodle. This would have been fun if there was some way to hold the circles in place. When we had them as kids, I think we could pin them down on something. Neither of us could use it. Very disappointed at the money lost in these hard times.

Cheaply made. The circle used to make spirals does not stay down with puffy they give. Even holding it down, the circle moves. It’s hard to get the inner spiral graphers out from the plastic. Disappointing.

turned into some cheapo product. i dont remember this being this bad since i used it when i was a kid. i think they put toooo much circles, maybe a lot less and more effort into quality. then it might be worth it. way overpriced. the kiddie version is better on this

The set itself is great and really fun but the putty to hold the pieces in place is dried out. It’s a good idea to have the putty but it’s useless if it’s dry. If there was another way to package it that would be helpful. Other than that it was a fun set!

Bought this for grandkids, as I remember enjoying this when I was young. Tried it out before I gave it to them and I was so glad. It was a lot harder to use than I remembered and I knew they would not enjoy it. I ended by returning it, just wasn't going to be the hit I hoped it would be. Designs showed could not be even remotely created.
