A: Good day, These cast iron pans are not coated with oil but a nonstick coating. The Rock coating contains no PFOA, PFAS, lead, cadmium, or nickel and is approved by the Health Canada regulations and is completely safe.

Excellent frying pan
I just got the 12” deep pan because I had bought the smaller frying pan and I just love it! Now that I have the larger version (and it’s deeper) I will definitely experiment more with different recipes and I know this pan will perform as well as the smaller one! My daughter is the one who got me hooked on these!
