Q: Is this detergent h.e ok?
A: Tide makes an h e version.
submitted byKkvw - 8 years agoA: Sure is. Use it all the time.
submitted byska - 8 years agoA: This particular listing is not our HE version. We do make an HE Tide Free and Gentle Liquid Detergent. We do not suggest using regular detergents in an HE washing machine. If your washer is HE, be sure to use our HE detergent.

Q: Why is HE on the front top of the bottle but is not high efficiency? This is misleading and led me to believe the product I was purchasing is HE. I think it's a marketing scam that needs attention.
A: We hope it helps to know this detergent is HE.
submitted byTide - 11 months agoBrand expertA: This! Target, fix this listing! The main photo shows HE and most of the review photos show HE bottles. This is seriously misleading. Some identifier in your database must not be unique.

Q: The non-he formula recently changed at same time it changed from 92 oz to 84 oz. New formula doesn't suds or clean clothes & ingredients now match the he version. How can they be the same & different?
A: We know how important it is to have fresh clean clothes, and are happy to help. Please know, there are many quality checks in place to ensure only the best products reach you. We recently updated the formula of our Tide Free & Gentle to offer better stain removal, and better product clarity. If contains a new enzyme to help fabrics appear whiter & brighter. We also concentrated our detergents, so there's fewer ounces, yet they still deliver the same number of loads. We'd like to learn more about your experience, so when you have a chance, please give us a call at (800) 879-8433.
