A: Carcinogen is not intentionally added ingredient in any of P&G’s products. Because arsenic is in the naturally occurring in the environment, arsenic is found in trace amounts widely across many products such as food and cleaning products. The results shared by CR are very low, safe levels, well below any established safety limits for a cleaning product.

Q: Is this a NON-HE detergent? I'm looking for the "old school" detergent for a Speed Queen washing machine that used much, MUCH more water than the HE designed machines.

I used to LOVE this detergent as the smell was light and didn’t bother my sensitive smell or skin for the last 2 years, but I just opened a newly purchased bottle and washed my clothes and I can’t wear any of those clothes as the smell is giving me a headache out of nowhere and I have to change clothing into something that I just hasn’t washed with the new bottle. Has the scent changed recently?! I have to find a new detergent now which I am not happy about

I've now done six plus loads using this detergent. The odor left on the clothes is borderline unbearable. If you like to wear perfume, buy this smelly detergent. I'm very unhappy with the product.

***warning*** As per other reviews (be wary = extra 10x strength @ requires LESS = itching possible due to "unable" to rinse out @ deep fill -or- extra rinse is REQUIRED) ____ id rate 5 stars for "occasional" cleaning @ NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE in feel of clean "feel" clothes/bedding ___ only use 1x monthly for all clothes (if used every time = clothes will deteriorate @ similar to using fabric softener) then "original" liquid for remainder of month ____ Everytime for bedding ___ occasionally for children/work clothes/footwear ____ I could care less about the scent @ cleanliness is the priority (white container version is slightly better = can be used as a booster without interference with other detergent scents)____ I never use fabric softener, scent beads, dryer sheets... ***Only liquid tide*** (clothes costs too much = all the accessories products will destroy your clothes)

In a household that has several sensitive skin issues the old hygienic clean was perfect. No excessive dies or fragrance, basically a more powerful version of.Free and Clear. Now I am afraid I won't be able to use this new version causing me to duplicate loads due to lesser cleaning power of free and clear and its hyalenf

As machines and consumer behavior change over time, we continually update products and packaging to deliver a best-in-class laundry experience. We do this by improving formula performance, updating dosing instructions and optimizing the packing. In this instance, the drums in washing machines have historically gotten bigger over time. As a result, a full load in HE washing machines has gotten larger as measured by pounds of laundry. Therefore, while Tide was concentrated recently, Tide still recommends dosing to bar 5 for a full load in an HE machine to get the best-in-class laundry experience that Tide strives to deliver. My favorite kind of Tide. The smell of the hygienic clean in particular smells so so good. My close friends and family members tell me how good my families clothing smells. Does a decent job of getting out stains, I believe if I washed the day the stain got there I think it would be really good at getting the stains out

The scent isn't as strong and I'm okay with that. Sometimes I feel detergent is too fragranted. This is enough to smell but not enough to fill a room with smell from a jacket. Anyway. I have a 11month old who LOVES berries. This stuff got ALL the berry put of her clothes and the highchair cover. It's my new favorite detergent.

This is the only detergent I’ll use! It totally gets rid of stains and odors. I’ve been doing laundry for A LOT of years, and the Hygienic Clean formula is just…Wow! It has outperformed every other kind of Tide I’ve ever used, and Tide has always been MY brand. This is truly the best detergent on the market!

Started using this because after a sale my standard Tide was sold out. I think it gets my cloths cleaner and the whites are definitely brighter especially the dingy socks! I just wish it did not seem unscented. It’s advertised as having the Tide scent, but for some reason there’s no scent at all. So that’s disappointing I like a fresh and clean smell. It definitely does the job well and gets the dirt out though.

I use a different detergent, but used this when my friend moved in because it's what he used. I don't notice the clothes being any cleaner and it doesn't seem to freshen the clothes. I have had to rewas loads of my son's clothes with our normal detergent so they smell free and clean. it's ok but there are more affordable and better smelling detergents for much less. I think it's way overpriced so I'm back to using my normal stuff

My son has horrible seasonal allergies. He takes medication for them, but still sneezes frequently. I can not pretreat every article of clothing that he sneezes on, so I depend upon my detergent to do the heavy lifting. Frequently Tide Hygienic Clean Pods let me down. While folding his "clean" dark colored shirts, I noticed dried, laundered, snot marks, in the middle of his chest, where his nose blew up before he could grab a tissue. I have to rewash the shirt, using warm water, Clorox 2 and baking soda to get the stains out. Really, does it have to be this hard?

All our laundry detergents are designed to provide good overall cleaning, helping water to penetrate fabrics to loosen dirt, and also suspend dirt in the water so it doesn't go back onto the fabric. For the best results, be sure to follow the care instructions on the garment label, and use the hottest water safe for the fabric. It also important to not overload the washer, and use the recommended amount of detergent - 1 laundry pac for regular loads, and 2 pacs for L/XL loads and heavily soiled loads. Do not buy. I had to rewash my clothes and they still didn’t look clean. Also it left a bad smell. As if I hadn’t washed my clothes terrible.
