Loved it when I bought original one and now this one made my son break out it in hives ! Definitely different formula because we’d previously used this in January with no reaction. I love it and smells wonderful but definitely affected my son and sadly have to return it.

I haven’t purchased any tide products that have scent for years because I was so turned off at the change in fragrance in 2023ish, and how different it was from what I remember from growing up. However, I picked this up during my last shopping trip and was not turned off by the smell. It smelled closer to the original tide before they messed with the scent and added the febreeze or whatever. After coming home and washing multiple loads with the recommended amount, I’m so pleased. I have not gotten tired of the smell, it’s so good and it’s not overpowering. The job it does on my laundry is some of the best I’ve tried with two, very messy, small children.

Wayyyyy too strong
This is the worst smelling detergent. It is also crazy strong smelling. I’ve rewashed my husbands clothes twice in our regular detergent and they still smell so strong.

Using less detergent and the correct dosage for load size can both be helpful in helping to control the level of scent left behind. To remove scent from fabrics, we recommned that you rewash with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. If the items are bleach-safe, use bleach while washing, or one cup of vinegar can be added to the wash if not bleach-safe. Horrible, overpowering smell
I never write reviews, but I had such a bad experience with this detergent that I felt the need to post one. This has to be the most awful smelling laundry detergent I have ever used. I bought it to combat sweaty summer laundry, but this is so pungent that I would prefer to smell like sweaty clothes. It is so strong that it still gives me a headache after re-washing in a different detergent. My laundry drum even smelled of it after I went away on vacation for 2 weeks! I’m not typically sensitive to fragrances, but the intensity of this makes me physically ill. Even my husband commented, and he’s not one to notice much. It did a good job with my kids’ food stains, but it’s not worth the literal headache.
