I called Tide to see if this formula could be used for colored loads. I was told no problem. It was a problem. Lightened some pieces and other pieces had spots.

I tested these out and found that they worked well on stains, regular ones at least and were able to get my toddler’s food stains out of his clothes. The only thing I thought was a bit much was that it smelled really strongly so I docked a star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pods are so BIG, like I would take them out of the bag and they were half the size of my palm and just bursting full of liquid, so that’s a good size for value I think. It smelled super fresh and clean, I bet you could use just one for a large load and it work perfectly because of the size and power of one. I used 2 because I had a huge load that had a lot of dirt and smell, and it worked perfectly. My clothes were clean, smelled obviously clean and great, and were nice and soft (no residue feeling). the only thing I will see is that the child-prevention zip at the top is SO hard to open and close, especially the very first time. It took me forever and i just had to manually pull it apart. I know this is for safety but it was definitely a little difficult.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product cleans clothes well, but sometimes the plastic from the pods don’t fully dissolve in cold water. You might need to use warm water when using this product to avoid the sticky plastic mess from getting on your clothes. You also need to be careful with the physical package because one of the pods bursted in the bag leaving all the other pods sticky. Be sure to wash your hands after handling this product!

Just toss them right into the washer prior to your clothes and turn on. Everything is right inside and I’ve never had any issues with the pods vs liquid.

It smells great, cleans my clothes really well (even the bigger, more soiled loads) and the added power of OXI white is great, as it eliminates the need to use one extra product in my laundry. I also love the packaging and the ‘preportioned’ pod sizes, since I tend to overuse the liquid detergent in my HE machine. One of these little bad boys will clean even the largest, messiest loads. The bad that it comes in is also resealable with a child lock. Great product on all fronts!
