Q: Can I buy one and record us reading a book or something without owning a tonies machine? I want to buy it as a gift to my niece and nephew so we don’t have the machine but I’d download an app or whatever to do this.

A: Hey there. First we recommend sending the DIY Creative-Tonie to the gift recipient, then having the Household owner invite you to join their Household and grant permission to record on their behalf. Once invited and the Creative-Tonie is placed on their Toniebox, you can remotely add content via the mytonies app or my.tonies.com. I ordered these Tonie as a grandma who gifted Tonie boxes to her grandgirls. I am so excited to read stories to them even though we live far away. The app was easy to use. Easy to record and easy to load on my grand’s Tonie boxes. They love hearing me read to them at bedtime. Thank you.

We absolutely love our tonie box for our toddler but this tonie is our favorite. My husband travels quite a bit and I do sometimes as well. This tonie has allowed us to be able record us reading a bedtime story or just record a little note for her and she can play when we have to be gone on a trip. It's made those hard nights when she's missing dad, just alittle bit easier.

Worship music tonie! Also… I’m putting in a tonie request that they make some Christian Bible story tonies…. Hard to paint on with acrylics. Needs two light coats for good coverage ….which clearly I wasn’t patient enough to do
