Turtle Beach Stealth™ 700 (Gen 3) Wireless Gaming Headset

So ive noticed after a short while it'll just turn off when I have audio coming out of it either in a discord call or make TV audio come from the headset

He loves that he can switch between his PlayStation and Xbox audio with the push of a button, and connect his phone at the same time as a console. He says they are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods and the sound quality is excellent. Not a single complaint from him!

At first when I received the product, I was ecstatic stoked. I was like finally I got a real gaming headset and it felt like that and it still does feel like that sounds very immersive but my only problem is is yesterday when I was playing for the first time my friends was telling me that my mic sounded like a robot so that kind of gave me red flags because with my last headset that was what was going out.

This headset seems be exceptionally good, compared recent years, as far as audio and quality of construction. I only have a couple of complaints about it! One, the two transmitter thing is extremely annoying. I have to have both transmitters plugged in every time that Swarm 2 wants to force an update. Secondly, trying to get it set up was extremely frustrating, because what should have taken 10 mins, ended up taking 30+ mins. When I first connected my headset, I could hear my friends,but they couldn't hear me, after the firmware update hit 50% we could all hear each other, and by the time it hit 100% none of us could hear each other. My mic was showing as not registering on my Xbox and I have to fully reboot my Xbox to finally get my headset working properly!

I am going to get past the fact that 2 days after I ordered this headset they put the higher quality headset on sale for less than this one. I will also not hold the fact that my Stealth 700 Gen 2 died, yes completely died, at 14 months from purchase and was no longer eligible for warranty. When I received this headset it was not in working order. I had to do an update, then a complete reset and update again before I could use it. The instruction book that came with it was completely worthless, thankfully I was very familiar with their website. But the controls on the headset are not intuitive and takes some getting used to, once you have fully updated the software on all components. And in case you wonder, does this guy even know anything about their products, I have owned several versions of their gear over the past 20 years and have always been impressed with their quality and comfort. I had just sent one of my boys a couple of my old turtle beaches that I have had for over 10 years and were still working. Yes, I always keep my old ones as backups when I get a new one. So imagine my disappointment when my 700s died in only 14 months, 2 months out of warranty, and the new ones I paid for weren't even ready for use when they shipped them to me. There are numerous companies making gaming headsets out there but I have always stuck with turtle beach because of their quality and comfort. This was quite a disappointment.

The fit and finish of the headset is fantastic, but the headset is heavy, the audio quality even with an eq is average, and the microphone is very buggy.

I'm not going to lie, I've never been more disappointed with a Turtle Beach Headset until now. I have been following the Stealth 700 series since the first pair that came out and I was using the Stealth 700 Gen 2 Pro right before purchasing the Stealth 700 Gen 3. I never had issues with the other headsets until this one. It seems like after connecting bluetooth to my phone after 20 minutes of a stable connection my headset unpairs and repairs itself about 5-6 times within the next minute when playing games. This get annoying when I am trying to play a game and my headset can seem to stay connected and turns down my game volume just to tell me that bluetooth disconnect and then reconnected in the same second. I was very excited to have the newest headset, but I'm getting to the point where I am just going to return the headset and stick with my older one because of how unusable this situation is.

I still need to have it longer to know how the quality of it holds up. The microphone quality is worse than the $10 headset I got from Walmart which lasted me two years. The audio is good I am able to hear things very well with it. They are somewhat tight on my head which is good for the fit but makes them less comfortable than a lighter or less tight pair would be.

Overall a disappointing headset I would not recommend. For background, I am by no means a headset expert however I do regularly play competitive games think teams based shooters like overwatch, r6 and battlefield as well as more story based games like Ghost of Yotei and Elden ring. The audio quality is mostly fine is you can figure out the right settings however I was having trouble getting the noise cancelling to work if the headset does gave this feature. I wasnt able to determine concretely if it does because even after messing around with the settings I could hear myself talk clearly as well as other noise in my room. The Bluetooth connection once again was alright, convenient for what it was but there were alot of times when the headset rapidly cut in and out for a few minutes before returning to normal. The headset was reasonable easy to setup so no complaints there and the switching between devices was smooth so thats a nice plus. That being said the mic itself is by far the worst feature about this headset. When talking to freinds with it, the best way they could describe my voice was "Yalking through a Styrofoam cup 2 rooms away. " And for a $150 price tag this was beyond upsetting. Overall I can't recommend this to anyone who want to use it for gaming as I just ended putting it in my closet and going back to my old headset.

A little heavy but that's really the only bad I can say. Game use is excellent!

I love that I can use it on my Xbox x and on my computer as well as on my cell phone they're hella cooling and they sound very good on every game I play I love that I can update them when I need and like that I can just the sounds from my phone

This turtle beach headset is the best design for comfort, performance, compatibility, and durability.

These initially paired with my Xbox X, and now the mic doesn’t work. I tried all the troubleshooting, nothing has worked. Reached out to support and they sent me incorrect instructions for troubleshooting. I’m just going to return these things. Overall comfort and sounds seem great. Other than that, just a shame these weren’t a good purchase.

Honestly it’s okay audio is good but the mic is what brings it down
