Q: Is this Queen Elizabeth's favorite tea?
A: Thank you for your question. Twinings is very proud to have been honoured by Queen Victoria in 1837, when she appointed the company as her supplier of tea. We have proudly supplied every successive British Monarch with tea, including His Majesty King Charles III. This honour means that we have been granted the right to put His Majesty's Coat of Arms, known as the Royal Warrant, on our packaging. Use of the Royal Warrant is governed by a set of rules including confidentiality, so unfortunately we cannot comment on any of the products that we supply to any of the Royal Households.

Q: Does this product have microplastics in the teabag material, like American teabags?
A: Thank you for reaching out to us and huge apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we take the quality and safety of our products very seriously. I can confirm that the tea bags used to make our Twinings English Breakfast product are made from tea paper, a plant-based biodegradable material and this product is third-party certified as home compostable. I hope I have been able to allay your concerns but please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any more questions.
