The hanging hardware is ridiculous. In order to hang it level, you have to level a long, floppy piece of thin paper. There is no ability to check the level or level the board once the nails are driven without pulling the nails and adding more holes to your wall. I should have gone with my first instinct and thrown out the included hardware and used my own. But, I expected more functionality from something purchased at Target. I shouldn’t have had to jerry-rig it.

Someone thought we needed a better or cheaper way to hang a picture on a wall. Well, they missed with the solution offered with this board. It is not the traditional picture hanging wire. Suggest you look further.

Regular-size push pins go right through the cork and out the back of the board into the wall. You might pin your items straight to the wall for all the pin holes it will make! What a useless product.

When I opened the clear covering, there was a horrible chemical smell. It has only a shallow veneer of cork, which it claims is self-healing, but it's not. The cork veneer and substrate are so thin that push pins pop out the back. Plus the "birch" frame is just MDF with a contact paper wrap. Pure junk. I have a headache from the stench emanating from this thing. Going back to the store immediately.

I was planning to use this bulletin board to assemble jigsaw puzzles on -- the bulletin board could easily be lifted off the table and be stowed away when the table needed to be used. Unfortunately, the cork on my bulletin board has a very strong, unpleasant odor that completely permeated the room it was stored in after just only a few hours. I have no idea if leaving the bulletin board outside to air out and soak up some sunshine is going to help get rid of the smell, but I will try. If that doesn't work, I will be returning this item.

I can't speak to how well this works as a bulletin board but it's great for jigsaw puzzles. Easily accommodate 1000-piece puzzles. The frame is also not too thick- makes it easier to slide a completed puzzle off of it, even if the pieces don't lock tightly. Board is very lightweight and easy to move around. Perhaps these aren't the greatest qualities for a bulletin board, but for my purpose, it's perfect. I've purchased 3 of these bulletin boards.

This board is horrible .. It takes all of my strength to push pins through it! I’m not sure if I got one bad one but I have several other cork boards and I don’t struggle with any like I struggle with this one. Also, the pin pokes out through the back .. luckily I did this BEFORE I hung it, otherwise, I think it would’ve poked holes in my walls!
