A: Hi Piper, We are so sorry to hear about your experience, but appreciate you bringing it to our attention. As the lead may be jammed, please try unscrewing the top and clearing out the lead. If this does not work, please bring product back to Target in exchange for a new set of U Eco Mechanical Pencils.

Metal tip retracts unpredictably. Makes writing and lead control very difficult. Cute look, and sturdy material, but not comfortable to hold and not a great eraser. Comes with cute and handy container for lead refills.

One of the worst products I’ve ever bought. erasers are shallow and fall out the back constantly so you’re always looking for them. Graphite will fall out everywhere. Just went to click my grey pencil and the whole front end shot off. Completely broken. $4 for maybe two days of use.

The only nice thing about these mechanical pencils is their looks. The lead is terrible. It breaks. The pencil mechanism is terrible. The metal part that holds the lead goes back inside when writing so I have to pause and click to expose more lead. I’m a teacher I don’t have time to babysit a pencil when I have students in my classroom. Bic brand is not cute but this brand is not functional.

These pencils waste SO MUCH lead through breakage. When you click them, a metal end comes out to support the lead. While writing, the metal somehow goes back up into the pencil and suddenly you're left with a long piece of lead which snaps off. I've used all 3 of these pencils and all of them do this. If I forget to keep checking the end of the pencil while I'm writing (roughly every 30 seconds or so), I end up snapping tons of lead off in the course of finishing just one assignment. I've attached a picture so you can see what I mean, up top is a pencil when you click it and the bottom pencil is what it looks like after about a minute of writing. They do hurt a little to write with as well but I could get over that if they worked. There's nothing sustainable about these useless pencils that now have to be trashed. Very disappointed.

They didn’t even last me a month! The first few days they were great! Cute design, eco friendly, etc. But, after a week or so the erasers fell out all the time, when I would try to write the lead would go back into the pencil or break off and they hurt my hands to write! I have never submitted a bad review before (barely even good ones I don’t write reviews often) but I thought these things needed to be addressed! Please take it from me and not the people submitting 5 stars just because they are cute! Have a nice day hope this helped!
