Q: Would these be safe to use on diy baby blocks that may come into contact with a baby’s mouth?
A: Hello, thank you for your question. uni POSCA markers are water based. Although they are non-toxic, the paint is not permanent on non porous surfaces and could be ingested if in contact with a baby's mouth. We would not recommend using uni POSCA markers on baby products that may come in contact with a baby's mouth. uni POSCA markers is safe to for use by children but should always be supervised and should avoid contact with skin and clothing due to potential staining.

Q: Are these markers permanent or will it wash out of clothes?
A: Hi, thank you for your question! uni POSCA markers are removable on non-porous surfaces and permanent on porous surfaces. However, the paint is water-based. Some of the paint may wash out but leave some residue. If paint gets on your clothes and needs to be removed, you can pre-treat the stain with a stain remover or liquid detergent and let it sit for about 10–15 minutes before washing. If you are looking for a more permanent solution for your clothing, we would not suggest using a water-based marker. However, depending on the fabric type, it may be more permanent since some fabrics are more porous than others. It's always best to test a small area before usage. Good luck on your project!

Q: Can you use on cars?
A: Hi Alicia, thank you for reaching out! POSCA paint is permanent on porous surfaces and erasable on smooth surfaces. It can be removed from a smooth surface such as the car window, however, we can't guarantee it will come off completely if there are any possible porous areas within the car's surface such as a scratch or crack. Removing dried marker that has been present for a long period may take another agent to remove such as soap or alcohol but these may not be ideal for the car's paint. The marker can be used and removed safely from the glass of the car, but as mentioned, the longevity of the marker may require another cleaning agent and/or a rubber scraper to assist in its removal. It's best to always test on a small area on any surface in question prior to usage.
