It looks more like rag than a shag.
Linen color has lighter brown threads weaved in and does not resemble linen. Large chunks shed from rug immediately. The shag cut is not uniform so looks more like a thick rag than a shag. The rug threads stop about 1-2 inches from edges.

Can’t vacuum these rugs
I ordered 2 of the same rugs. I liked the color. But strangely they were different widths. But the sticker stated the same size. The shag was longer and raggedy than pictured. You aren’t able to vacuum it. I had to return them.

Very thin and cheap
I cannot believe this can even be sold as a shag rug. The backing is thin and stiff and when walking on the rug you can feel the stiff backing. I am so disappointed. Do not waste your money
