It’s a thin shag
First impressions were not great but we think we’ll get use to it. It’s replacing a similar rug which is much thicker, more plush in appearance. But again, we’ll get use to it. Both of us grew up back in the day of “shag”…. We saw differences then as now. This is just how the company describes it. Just a bit thinner than expected

Perfect for a bedroom
The rug was delivered as promised. The color was a little darker than shown however it still will work in the room. It is very soft to walk on and fairly easy to vacuum. The only problem encountered was a sticker used by the manufacturer or shipper was stuck to the top of the rug. It was impossible to get it off. Finally I had to cut it off taking a small amount of the pile off the rug. Luckily I have placed it in an inconspicuous place.

Nice quality rug. Teen daughter been looking for a plush and soft shag. Took a chance and ordered it and she loves it! The rug is soft, plush and minimal shedding. We looked at so many and you could feel the burlap backing under your feet. You cannot with this one! It is more of an off white than a bright white but still Very pleased with this purchase!

Like others may have been, I was a little concerned about buying a rug I couldn't see and touch first but after reading the reviews, I said why not! Best decision I have made in a while! What a deal! This rug is even plusher, with deeper color than the web pics showed! We love it! If you need a place to sit or lay down with a pillow to watch TV this will most certainly do! We will use Rugs.com again, and again, I am sure!
