You can also reduce or remove creasing by rolling the rug, pattern side up, and massaging the creases with your hands. The backing will loosen to help the rug lay flat. For the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease. Use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease.

A: Is it a soft rug or rough?
submitted byMon - 30 days agoA: HI. For our Unique Loom Solid Shag area rugs, we recommend spot cleaning with Resolve or other spot treatment cleaners and vacuuming regularly. Do not use the vacuums with a beater bar as this will cause damage. The rug needs to be suction-only or take it outside and shake it out. You can use a carpet cleaner, commonly known as a shampooer, but he rug should be dried immediately and evenly.

A: Hi Kelly. The backing of the Unique Loom Solid Shag Area Rug is a a cotton/jute blend. We do recommend purchasing a non-slip pad if the rug is going on a hard surface flooring.

I love the rug! The shag is just the right length. It did not come rolled up like a regular rug, but rolled up and then bent over, so it is in the process of being back rolled so it will lay flat. Overall, I really really like it!

My 3rd of this shag rug I've purchased - it's soft and perfect. Using it in the guest room. We put a 3/8ths" rug pad underneath for a softer feel underfoot since we have tile floors.

There are many positive reviews for this rug. My experience is different. The rug I received looks old, worn out and a shabby turquoise color (not a deep aqua as described). Disappointing but hey, you can't win'em all. Most things I purchase at Target are great.

Love this shag rug. We had ordered the same one for our main bedroom (different color and size) and loved it so much that we ordered also for the guest bedroom. Price point and quality are ideal. We did use a 3/8" rug pad under both since we have tile floors. Easily unfold and vacuum and looks perfect from the first day. No odor. Thank you rugs.com for another quality product!

My rug is a beautiful navy blue color that matches the order form color sample perfectly. It is thick and very soft making it comfortable to the touch. Its color helps to coordinate my navy-rimmed dishes and kitchen artwork! It was delivered on the day that was promised. Sooooooo pleased!
