A: I bought it because the picture showed the sprayed edges and said it was a target exclusive...but the one I received is plain and I'm livid.

Like Butcher & Blackbird, this is expectedly a romcom with a dark twist. It was funny, and mostly light, and I enjoyed the green flag MMC. Fun times to be had all around. If you read the synopsis and are not alarmed, then you will likely enjoy this one!

No plot. The spice is mediocre. This feels like a teenage relationship that tries so very hard to fit into dark romance, but it just feels immature and completely unrealistic how coincidental every single thing in the book happens… literally everything. Some repetitive phrases that annoyed me… “the cat yowled” and “that’s my girlfriend”. Ugggggh, so repetitive.
