A: Check to make sure you plugged into the air port on the left side and not the DC power port on the right hand side

Q: How do I reset the time and date after the initial use. I didn't do it correctly the first time and the month and year is incorrect.

A: Hi K, to reset the time and date just follow these simple steps. 1. When the monitor is off, press "SET" to display the time, then hold "SET" to enter the year selection. 2. Press "MEM" to change the year. Each press will cycle the year up. 3. Press "SET" when the correct year is selected and enter the nest step. 4. After you've selected the year the heartbeat monitor will switch to the next setting. Follow steps 2 and 3 to set up the Month/Day, Time Format, Hours/Minutes, and Unit. When you have completed all settings the screen will display "dOne" followed by all of your settings and shut off.

Inaccurate readings

The readings I received while using this device were dangerously and inaccurately high. I reread the instructions multiple times to ensure that I was using it correctly, but the readings I was receiving were always very high. I took it along to an appointment with my PCP, and it was giving readings around 120/104, while my doctor and two nurses were all getting readings in the healthy range. I immediately threw it away after the appointment.

I’m not really sure why people are so critical of this bp monitor. At first I didn’t think it worked right so I read the directions. Monitor will not work unless the line on the cuff is lined up with the main artery in your arm. I lined it up and it works great. Sometimes you have to read the directions, folks.

I brought this product this morning and it did not work at all i put the batteries in and it would not allow the air to go inside of the cuff so i went back to the store to return it and grab another one. I went and grabbed another one and rhe same issue occured. So I will need to return again this timre for my money back

As far as I can tell, it seems accurate. However…. There is a place for a wall plug (not included). Great! Seems like this is the sort of object that’s going to stress batteries and I’ll replace them often. So great! Ok, what do I order, Target? This is your brand. Where are the accessories? At least the details? What do I have to look for. At least the socket on the monitor said 6V and positive polarity. Omniron has a power cord for their unit. The unit looks similar. Maybe the power cords are too. Nope. The plug wouldn’t fit in the unit. I guess instead of a cord specifically for my device, I’ll have to get one of those universal ones with all of the different sized plugs and a selector switch for voltage. I’d rather have just a cord with all of the right things. Maybe if Target could’ve paid someone for an extra 15 minutes of work, they could’ve added the details of the power cord to the instruction manual. Or better yet, Target could sell the cord and the app could suggest it as an add-on. Do people really prefer batteries to power cords. 2 sets of batteries would probably pay for a power cord. And with it, I don’t have to worry about batteries being left in the device too long and corroding. I’d recommend this except for the fact that I think more people are like me and prefer not to use batteries.

Inaccurate readings! Bought this to track my BP over the weekend after a high reading at my 38 week checkup at OBGYN. Was consistently in the elevated range every time I checked it over the course of 3 days. The on call doctor told me my readings were a concern and come in to the hospital so they could check me for preeclampsia. Turns out this monitor is bad because after 4 hours of monitoring and blood work at the hospital my BP was completely normal! Don’t waste your money! Returning tomorrow.

I just bought this monitor, I have had it for less than 5 days and it has stopped working properly. I can't even use it now nor return it because I threw the box away. What a waste. Do yourselves a favor and get something of better quality.

Too large for small arm

The cuff is too large for me. It's supposed to fit 8.66 inch to 16.54 inch arms. My arm is 9.5 in, but this cuff is outside the "OK" range on my arm. In photo, it's fairly loose on my arm. I can't say if I recommend it or not otherwise.

Can be tricky to get correct placement on yourself, but easy to use on someone else. Quick to run through the check process and give a reading. Seems accurate when cuff is placed correctly. Comes with batteries but not a power cord, even though it can be plugged in.

This machine works great. The instructions make it easy to use and there are additional instructions on the cuff. It allows you to have settings for two people. It allows memory, date and time. It has been accurate for me based upon my normal bp as well as comparing my heart rate to what my watch reads.

I usually like up and up products. I am not sure how accurate this blood pressure cup is. It has given me multiple different readings. I used another blood pressure cup to see if the readings were similar but the up and up was off. I would say pretty easy use.

Thanks to Target I got to try this product in exchange for an honest review. It came at the right time. Someone in my family got sick and what better way to assess someone's health than to check hair blood pressure. It was very simple and easy to use. It seems very durable. Even when turned the wrong way, it was still very accurate. I would recommend.

Great affordable option when monitoring your blood pressure. My husband has hypertension and this has been wonderful to have around the house for him to monitor it. My husband is also a nurse and said this product is as good or better than others that he has seen. We will definitely recommend to others.
