Q: my baby is 2 months and I stopped breastfeeding weeks after he came home. is this product good for starting milk supply back?
A: I don't know if it would start your supply back up but I think you should try! I would try that with massaging your breasts to ty and get them producing again!
submitted byKolbie - 8 years agoA: Hi Tiffany, Fenugreek, commonly used in breast-feeding mothers with low supply, may be useful for mothers attempting relactation as well. Fenugreek may take up to two weeks to have an effect on milk production, so women who desire to relactate may want to start taking it as soon as they begin trying to encourage their infant to nurse. Stimulating the breast every two to three hours makes it more likely that relactation will occur. Because relactation is a complicated biological process, fenugreek seed alone will not cause milk supply to return or become well-established. Active stimulation and emptying of the breasts is necessary. Professional or peer support from your doctor, a certified lactation consultant or a local La Leche League leader can also help rebuild your milk supply.
submitted byUpSpring Customer Service - 5 years agoA: If you've stopped breastfeeding all together and don't have much or any milk supply now, this product won't help. Honestly, I tried this in the later stages of breastfeeding and it didn't increase my milk at all, plus tasted disgusting lol.
