The case is built with a raised edge, or bezel, around the perimeter of the screen. This raised edge ensures that if the iPad is dropped flat on its face on a flat surface (like a floor or table), the screen itself does not make contact with the surface. Instead, the durable TPU frame of the case absorbs the impact. The screen also is indirectly protected by the case's rugged construction. The case is made from a combination of polycarbonate (PC) and shock-absorbing thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It features CornerGuard® Technology, which disperses the force of a drop throughout the case body, minimizing the shock that reaches the vulnerable corners of the screen. Well made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Putting it together was very straight forward. The inner shell is made of a hard plastic with an outer rubber casing, which is an upgrade from my previous case that was only rubber. The rubber locks into the shell very sturdily and it feel very nicely protected. All the buttons are easily accessible and the case isn’t bulky. There is a slot on the back for a pen, and a strap that goes in the back as well. All in all, well made and does a great job at protecting my iPad.
