Q: How do I fill the tank with water?

  • A: We will be happy to provide that information. To fill the water tank, remove the tank from the base and turn it upside down. Unscrew the cap that is located on the now exposed base of the unit. The cap will unscrew to the left. Once the cap is removed, you can put water into the tank. Make sure to line the cap up correctly and tighten it before turning the tank right side up. A vaporizer is made of two carbon electrodes that send arcs of electricity through the minerals in the water. This arcing energizes the water to the point that it vaporizes, or turns into vapor. Somehow this thing leaked the vicks syrup onto my beautiful furniture and totally ruined it!! I had a small silicone mat under the humidifier itself, but the way its so tall and the medicine cup is ALL THE WAY ON THE TIPPITY TOP it might have spilled somehow, which is a very stupid design! I am so upset at how it destroyed my furniture! There was even a line forming around the silicone mat that made a line that's eaten through the paint! Garbage!

With little kids, a humidifier to help alleviate cold symptoms is a must, and this one did a really great job of that while it lasted. Especially helped my kiddo with asthma breathe easier. I love that it has a compartment to add Vicks vapor liquid into it. Also, as a side note, it fits perfectly on the top of one of Target's 3 Tier Metal Utility Carts (not sponsored) which we have set up as our sick cart and can wheel it between rooms (if one kid gets sick, you know it's a matter of time before the next one does... and the next... and yourself... so this thing gets around). Lately, during a recent bought of illness, we failed to remember to turn it off after a long night of humidifying and it overheated. We turned it off and let it rest, and it worked for a couple more nights. Now, it seems it will turn on and then pop itself back off in just a couple minutes, feigning it's overheated again. After a few days in a row of this, I think it's probably time to replace it. I purchased it December 2022 and it bit the dust February of '24. Not sure what the average lifespan of a humidifier is, but this one was just over a year for us. Take that for what you will. TBH, I'll probably just buy this one again.

Dislike that it leaks water on every use. Must clean it out after every use. Needs to be checked for build up from the steam that is not good for any home. Very dangerous if breathing and not filtered. I no longer see the light on also no longer hear it run so it must be broken. If you see that is doesn’t run the same after the 2nd try just return it. I know I should have done that right away. Now I must look for a new one. Just will no longer buy this brand.

Only works periodically - will sometimes warm up the water and produce the vapors, but not every time. It feels like a piece isn't put together properly in the office somewhere that keeps each container from setting in place correctly, which makes it not work every time.

Pro: substantial amount of warm mist and helped breathing. Cons: most emits straight out of the top-can’t be turned to blow to the center of the room. With short cord, unit must stay near the wall. Description states up To 24 hours on one tank of water. Ours does not last 8 hours. Going back.

Leaks! Don't buy.

We have bought two of these and each one broke and started leaking out of the bottom. The first one we put in a pan until it just wasn't practical anymore. We thought the second one was working and only had it on a towel and it turns out that it, too, was leaking (very slowly) and now our floor has water damage. As soon as we lifted the unit up water started pouring out. Not many other humidifiers have great reviews and this one definitely shouldn't have any. It's getting to the point where I don't know what to do.

GREAT HUMIDIFIER

I have the old version of this product. I have 3 of them in my home and have owned them for years. I don't think people realize that the build up that they see in the bottom of these machines after a week is mineral build up from your water source. I have used humidifier water conditioner in my water every time I fill up and it makes clean up a lot easier. With that said, you have to soak the element and parts in white vinegar for a few hours before scrubbing it off. This machine definitely requires maintenance. If you are not willing to do that extra work then I suggest getting a whole home humidifier.

Disgustingly used humidifier. The store sold me a used humidifier that had water sediment inside of it. Had to drive back to the store to return. Spent two hours out of my day because the store took back a used item without checking the condition.

Worked alright but we ended up returning this humidifier. It might be the “warm mist” feature but this device collected so much gunk at the bottom. 🤢 not white scaley deposits but dark brown slimey residue. It was gross.
