The product itself worked well, but the container it comes in is awful! You can’t sprinkle out the product easily through the holes and sometimes the full lid falls off causing your to spill and waste product. I won’t buy again solely based on the container

Beware the tiny holes. I was trying to get the powder into the little tray by tapping the bottom, yeah it went all over the place and I wasted about 1/2 the container. Luckily some went into the cap so I was able to save some. Other than that, I like this product, its incredibly soft and smooth and I love the slight shimmer it gives my skin. Maybe just needs a better packaging design 🤷♀️

'Twas magic in a box. The most diaphanous, sheer, finely milled yet effective powder ever for a polished no-makeup look. Discovered in a mail order beauty box, I wore it for 7 years. Now I'm forced to look around for a substitute. The new one seems to have too much silica in it or something that just gives a more earth-bound mattifying effect.

I've been using this powder for so long I forget how or when I even got introduced to it. I have very dry, sensitive, eczema skin, so it's pretty major to find a powder that doesn't dry me out or feel like drywall on me. I just know I started off needing power to prime my brows because my skincare is quite oily from all the moisturizing products I use. I knew powders described as matte wouldn't work for me, so I was looking for a powder that would still give a glow while taking away shine. The description of this powder got me interested and since then I've used it pretty much everyday. It's very finely milled, it gives a blurred effect, gives dimension rather looking flat, and it gives a soft focus glow while taking away shine, and it's not drying at all no matter how many layers I put. This stuff is magic for someone with my skin type. I now use this to prime my eyelids which helps to keep my eye makeup in place, and I use this to powder my T-zone. I don't have any issues with creasing as long as I blend the area beforehand. I also recently started using the baked version in areas I want to brighten and these two in combination give the most amazing lit-from-within look in a very natural way. I don't wear much makeup, but this has been such a staple in my routine to prime and set the areas I need to and it lasts all day. For a dry skin girl it's surprising how powder has become my favorite step. Also for how much I use I'm glad the price is reasonable. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I haven't tried this product... I was looking for a non-comedogenic setting powder and checked the ingredients provided, which are all safe for acne-prone skin, but these are not all the ingredients ... some of the non-provided ones are indeed pore-clogging. Here is the complete list: Mica, Zea Mays Starch/Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Squalane, Pentylene Glycol, Lauroyl Lysine, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Potassium Sorbate, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Magnolol, Honokiol, Niacinamide, Fructose, Inositol, Lactic Acid, Glycine, Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Water. I was so happy to land on this product and have used it for about 2 years. I was buying the formula with the grey lid, and hadn't realized they changed the formula, not just the lid color to white. I don't like it. It leaves a white cast and feels less silky. My eyes have been getting watery too which I hope is not because of the new formula. That's the main reason I switched from NYX to W3ll people because I was allergic or my eyes were getting aggravated by the HD powder. Hopefully I will be able to get used to the new one because I really like W3ll People's ingredients and quality.

Absolutely loving this brightener! I use a large brush to blend this all over my face, and it's the only thing I need most days. I have light skin and this does not look white on my skin at all. Instead, it takes away much of my red skin tone and oil. It seems to actually blur a lot of my skin's imperfections. It's easy to apply and even looks great over foundation for days when I want more coverage, as it acts like a brightener and setting powder. The best part is that it fits into my natural skin care routine with its safe ingredient list. A must have in my makeup cabinet!

Interesting to see so many collected reviews with 5 stars... I liked the idea of a more natural powder. The feel of the powder is coarse and not finely milled. You can feel the roughness and grittiness. You also see specks of coarse glittery sparkle on your face. I don't mind refined sheen, but this is a very dry powder with glitter so I don't feel this suits older or dryer skin because lines/pores will be emphasized with all the glitter. I am 33 and love highlighters, but not glitter flecks all over my face for what is supposed to be face powder. For reference I do like Laura Mercier and Too Faced Perfect Peach Powder. If you like sheen IT Cosmetics also has their Bye Bye Pores Illumination which is not a glitter bomb. The amount you get in the jar is also very small for the price so not much value.

This is not the powder for dry skin, in my opinion. It reminds me of the Bareminerals Mineral Veil finishing powder, which feels like it's sucking the moisture out of your skin. This would be better suited for oily skin. Unfortunately, I returned it.

Thanks for your feedback, sorry you had this experience! The Bio Brightener Powder is a translucent powder that sets your cream products and absorbs excess oil without taking away your radiance. It can be focused in the t-zone for normal to dry skin or all over for oily skin. You might opt for the Bio Brightener Stick to add a natural glow instead. This is beautiful tapped onto the high planes of the face and will provide more moisture for dry skin types. Hope this helps!
