Actually Pretty Nice
After being sorely disappointed in 6 out of the 9 well people products I purchased… This one is surprisingly nice. The brown is beautiful. It builds well. The applicator is nice, it combs through the lashes and supersets the formula well. Only 4 stars because it is a bit flakey… Staying power maxes out around 6 hours… and you really want it to last 8+. But overall good, I may even buy it again.

Great for adding length
I enjoyed this mascara, but I already have naturally long lashes so I tried it on my sister who doesn't and it made such a difference on her! Neither one of us experienced any eye irritation, and we love how it's organic.

The Well People Expressionist Lengthening Mascara definitely lives up to its name when it comes to length. If your goal is to make your lashes look long, defined, and fluttery, this product delivers. The lightweight formula glides on smoothly, and the brush does an excellent job of coating each lash without heavy clumping. After just a couple of swipes, I noticed a noticeable difference in length and separation, giving my lashes a more wide-eyed look. However, while the mascara excels in its lengthening effect, the biggest drawback is its staying power. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to smudge or transfer throughout the day, especially in more humid conditions or if you have oilier skin around the eyes. I found myself needing to check in the mirror midday to wipe away faint raccoon-like smudges under my eyes, which takes away from the otherwise polished finish. That said, if you're looking for a natural yet lengthened lash look for shorter wear times—say, an evening out or a few hours at the office—this mascara is a great choice. But for all-day wear, especially in hot weather or if you need something completely smudge-proof, it may not be the most reliable option.

Not a fan of this mascara at all. It does lengthen, but note you will have major clumps and it will be super hard to separate your lashes again. It looks horrendous! I wish I could get a refund.

I’ve been transitioning to non-toxic products and purchased this because it rated well on the Yuka app and had good reviews. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as my usual waterproof mascara, but I didn’t like this and won’t be purchasing again. It does not help lashes hold a curl at all and it smudges a lot. Eye makeup remover doesn’t completely remove it either, I use makeup remover before the shower and still have black streaks running down my face when I get out of the shower.
