Anything thicker than paper causes the handles to overlap each other when cutting. This happens with all three if the scissors, so it is not a flaw in one pair.

One for the kitchen, one in the office and another the junk drawer. Good sturdy, not too heavy or thick. Friendly for younger hands and older weaker hands, just for paper cutting or light needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice scissors. They cut amazing, and fit comfortably in my hand. Only downfall i can find is im left handed and these are more designed to a righty. But honestly they still feel comfortable and gives sharp crisp cuts.

They don't feel any less than a non-recycled pair of scissors, so why not do something to help the environment? Another added surprise was that my left-handed son could use these too! Although it didn't indicate that it's for both left and right hand use, he was able to use these scissors with his left hand as well. There was no awkward holding of scissors while using it on the left hand. The handle is comfortable, and the openings for your thumb and forefinger is large enough for my hands. These aren't really big scissors, but they do what they're supposed to do. You really can't go wrong with Westcott brand. The fact that these come in a pack of three scissors is really economical too. You can keep one in your home, one in your office/work, and one for school purposes.

Sharp enough to cut through thick rope when working on a project outside to tie down some bins. Very useful in the kitchen to cut tops of packets or if need them to open envelopes. Very useful.

These have been a wonderful replacement from the old pair I was always using. They are sharp and the handles are nice to hold. I recommend them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grip is very comfortable when you are using the scissors. They are perfect to use on different products. I was able to use it on paper, card stock, construction paper, tissue paper, tape, laminate and Velcro. After using with Velcro and thick gorilla tape it did require for it to be cleaned and resharpened.
