for anyone wondering the ingredient maltodextrin is a filler usually made from corn, rice or potato. there is no reason why maltodextrin should be in a protein powder

Love this protein powder. I've tried several others and prefer this brand over even the name brand. I used to buy it under the Market Pantry label and it's the same stuff, just a new Target brand. Easy to mix, not overly sweet, perfect for my needs and affordable! My favorite is to add a scoop to a cup of cold coffee and about 1/2 cup milk and blend it up. Super yummy treat with protein!

The flavor is not bad but it clumps sometimes and will make you gag. However, the real problem is if you drink this daily your farts will be AWFUL. I've never farted so much in my life and they've never smelled this bad. My kids yell at me in the car, my husband is in shock and I can hardly be around myself. It's really that bad. Quit drinking these and it improved in two days. Again.. I'd say fine here and there but not part of your daily routine.

I'm counting calories as I embark on an improved nutritional route - along with resistance workouts at the gym (gym x 45 years) - I'm 68 YO - no spring chicken, but I've lost 40# in the last year eating clean. Protein powder has never been on my menu, but I ordered it because high level and newbie fitness buffs recommend it. Folks, I've steered clear of sugar since 2023. I read all the labels but this one, assuming protein powder is clean. 25 gm. of protein = 160 calories. I can eat 3 eggs and get 220 calories w/ no sugar, no carbs, 15G of fat OR I can eat 8 oz of chicken (rotisserie) = 55 gm of protein, no sugar, 18 gms of fat. All of this is estimated. I need 140 gm of protein per day. I'm disappointed that I didn't read the darned label. I'm not adding it to my menu. It smells good though. The price was right, too. I guess if you need protein powder this would be the way to go.

Protein 2 scoops (50 grams daily is enough clean protein for my fitness routine it taste great and blends well for smoothies.
