Q: do you need to drain a tank when full?
A: The air conditioner uses the patented auto drain or self-evaporative technology which exhausts condensation automatically in most environments. Please note that if the humidity is very high, the auto drain function will still exhaust the majority of the moisture. Q: I want to purchase Whynter Eco Friendly 12000BTU Portable Air Conditioner Platinum but my question is in description it says “it requires adult assembly tools not provided” can you describe what type of assembly is required is it?

Q: What is the difference between this 12000 BTU unit vs the white 12000 BTU unit? The white is more expensive but all the features/details are the same.

Q: Does this have an exhaust hose that needs to hang out a window to release hot air?
A: All portable air conditioners on the market require venting which removes the hot air in the room in order to bring the temperature down. Q: What is the warranty on this product? I am having issues and we have only used it three times this season. We had it last year and it was stored in the house in the closet for the winter.
