Wind & Weather Galileo Weather Station with Clock, Barometer and Thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the positive side it's beautiful. But, since it's a gift, I took the package apart. No missing parts or broken pieces-- definite positives. However, I discovered it was hard to pull out the plastic protecting the battery. Also, even though I have small fingers, it was VERY difficult to set the time. I didn't read the directions for the barometer and thermometer; I hope the recipient can get these functioning. Thankfully, the Galileo weather station is easy to understand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quartz clock did not work, they shipped replacement weather station promptly. Further investigation showed that neither aneroid barometer works. Actually this performance should be expected from this little money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had it a few days. I got it set up quickly and it appears to working great. I've always wanted one. Hopefully it will continue to work. The only negative thing I've found so far is that some of the instructions didn't translate well.

We like the product but the bookcase shelf it was set on got bumped causing it to fall and break. We will order another one. There was some cleanup (the liquid in the glass tube is not just water). I recommend sitting it somewhere solid and safe from being bumped. It has a high center of gravity with a small foot print. I might use double sided tape if I put it where it was before. Reading the current temperature can be difficult when the glass globes and temperature tags get bunched up. It is more of a novelty item for the temperature anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great at the office, have received several compliments. Barometer is accurate once set. Initially had some problems with the device and contacted customer service, problem solved within the day. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have ordered from Wind and Weather many times in the past and have not been disappointed. This time however was the exception. The Galileo Weather Station was not the quality I expect from your company. I purchased the station as a Christmas Gift for my son in law. It arrived today in time for Christmas and in my haste, I just wrapped it and out it under the tree. I did not inspect the item or I would have returned it. The gauges are placed in the holder hap hazard with each dial facing a different direction, making the print to appear sideways It causes the overall station to appear cheap and of poor quality, almost embarrassing.
