Description
Ever wish you had a circular saw you can use with one hand? The 4-1/2” Worxsaw Compact Circular Saw is for the DIY-er that wants to put a little more muscle and flexibility into their projects. We’ve gone all-in on the maneuverability angle and created a sleek, easy to use, lightweight electrical saw that quickly adjusts cutting depth up to 2” (so you can tear through stock lumber), quickly adjusts for bevel cutting from 0-45, and lets you do all your cutting with one hand by utilizing an ergonomic, comfortable grip. It’s 4100 rpm will slice through 2x4s in a single pass. And the smaller blade—4-1/2” compared to the 7-1/4” of a traditional circular saw—requires less power to get up to the same speeds of much larger saws. That puts less strain on the motor and extends the life of the tool. The Worxsaw is made for wood, but it’ll cut many materials. The laser guide and left-sided blade housing give you clean lines of sight for your cuts. And the dust port lets you attach a vacuum and keep sawdust out of your way. An included parallel guide will come in handy as you and your Worxsaw make quick work of the projects around your shop.

Nice specialty product.
This is a really nice specialty saw, good for (1 X dimensional), cutting down plywood sheets, etc. It's a 4 1/2" blade and a 4.5 amp motor, so don't expect it to perform or do the work of a large 15 amp saw. I have used it on a variety of projects and am very pleased with its performance, maneuverability and quality.

Disappointed
So I have several Worx tools and everyone knows this so a year and a half ago my brother gifted me this saw after I had said I was interested in a more compact circular saw. It has worked pretty well (a total game changer) till now. The motor runs but the saw won't spin. Is there a fix for this or am I stuck buying another one. I also saw several reviews with the same problem. So is this common or is it just an assembly issue.

Practical for all
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] tired of dragging my standard circular saw up and down the basement, the weight, the size, I purchased this Worxsaw plug-in and love it. Most of my saw needs are baseboards and such - under 2" W. This saw is smaller, lighter, and easier to handle. I have so many batteries I have to mark to keep track that I prefer some tools to be plug in. Love it.

The blade stops turning, but the motor keeps going
I have a lot of worx tools and they’ve all worked as expected, which is why I’m a repeat customer. This tool, however, has changed everything. The motor works and all the buttons function, but the blade stops spinning and why? Who knows!

Wonderful tool for an aging generation
So excited to have my new Worxsaw Compact circular saw. As I have gotten older, I find handling heavier tools becomes more of a problem. The Worxsaw allows me to do things I like to do around the house while being able to complete projects safely and with ease due to the size, weight, and efficiency of this tool. Just in time as my 70th birthday is less than two weeks away...Thanks WORX another great piece in my ever-growing collection of WORX products.

Best Little Compact Circular Saw - WORX GREAT

Fantastic handheld circular saw!

Piece of junk
First time I tried to get the blade in it is stuck at an angle and I cannot get it out or to sit properly. It's a brick now. The manual is no help to explain how to properly mount the blade.

Nice saw, but...
I've had the saw for over a year and it is handy, but Worx only makes ONE blade to fit it. The 3/8" arbor does NOT allow you to use other brands of blades, especially if you want use a masonry blade or a finer tooth blade, etc. It would be nice if Worx, at least made an adaptor nut for the arbor to allow you to use the more common 5/8" arbor hole blades.

Worked as expected!
I was looking for a light, powerful saw to do some overhead cutting. This saw performed well. The adjustments are accurate and hold tight. It has plenty of power. Only complaint is that, at some angles, the safety and trigger switches are hard to depress with one hand. Wasn’t a show stopper though.

Love this saw
I’ve had my saw for just under a year and it broke possibly the bearings burned up Anyone know where I can get parts? I’ve looked everywhere on line including the company website and no one offers parts

Great little saw
I bought this to assist in working on my house. It is much lighter and manageable than my circular saw especially working up high.

Great Size!
At 73 I needed something that was easy to handle but powerful enough to handle my projects and this works perfectly. Its light weight, easy to handle and has plenty of power to get the job done.

Maneuverable saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw in addition to my 7-1/4" saw because the larger saw was bulky to use in tight space for my home improvement. The saw is short and easy to grip. The thickness of barrel is perfect for my medium sized hand. I compared this with the earlier model, WX429L, at a store, and this newer model has a narrower barrel which fits my hand better. I compared other brands of model which had even narrower barrel, but they place motor far back so that the saw is longer (clumsy) and the weight balance is off. Therefore I picked this WX439L. The dust collection is not perfect but works. The dust collection adapter does not easily come off, which is good. Most of the construction is reinforce polyamid so the weight is low compared with one with aluminum. I have many power tools made of the reinforce polyamid therefore I think this tool will serve many long years, too.
