The core structure is sturdy, and the chairs look nice in person. The 4 bottom leg supports, however, suffer from a fundamental design flaw. The portion where they join to the legs is cut too deep, so that when you screw the supports into the legs, there is too little wood to connect with. What this means in practice is that the leg supports either never connect, or eventually disconnect from the legs as weight is applied through regular sitting. One chair never came together properly in the first place, and the other chair seemed to go together at first, and then the leg supports started coming apart one by one. I put together plenty of other products without issue, and this is the first I've had to return due to a basic design flaw. These chairs have potential if the leg support structure is reworked, but I can't recommend them with how they're manufactured today.

Very sturdy. It took some time to build but they have kids, so wanted to get them somethig easy to clean. Look very nice as they sit a bit higher than normal chairs.
