Q: Is this item dual voltage?

A: Thank you for asking! The Hushh Sound Machine requires a USB wall adapter (not included in the box) that will supply 5V DC. As long as you have an adapter that works with your home voltage, and supplies 5V DC, you can plug the provided USB cable into it for power.

Q: How long does the sound play before shutting off? Most I've found only play the sound for 30-45 minutes, and I need it to stay on for the duration of her sleep as we're on a very busy road and also the neighbor's dog doesn't stop barking.

A: It probably depends on how long you charge it for. ..but even when not fully charged I've had it run for HOURS and it hasn't turned off on me when I'm out and about

A: We offer a travel case separately as well as a Hushh/travel case combo. But the standard Hushh does not come with a travel case unless it is stated on the box/listing.

A: The Hushh is a digital unit that provides 3 different sounds, Bright White Noise, Deep White Noise, Gentle Surf. The Dohm is a mechanical unit with a fan inside, with 2 speeds. We would recommend our Pawzz Home unit for your barking dog, as it was designed specifically to help with canine anxiety and barking!

Q: Used this 10 times when my granddaughter is visiting. Kept it permanently plugged in since the second time cause it died in the middle of the night.Turned it on last night & it won't do anything???

A: Oh no! Due to the unit being a travel unit we suggest to not leave the unit plugged in for long periods of time or while in use. It should take only up to 4 hours to fully charge the unit and then last for up to 8 hours, depending on the volume set. Please try leaving the unit completely off of the charge for 24 hours and then charge uninterrupted for four hours. This should allow for the unit to return to normal use.

Q: What is the difference between this item and the Yogasleep Rohm Travel White Noise Sound Machine?

A: Thanks for asking! The Rohm and Hushh are similar in size and have the exact same three sound options. The differences are the Hushh has an additional child-friendly features like a child-safe button lock, a soft amber LED night light, and a plastic clip (verses the Rohm's rope lanyard) for conveniently clipping to wanted items.

This sound machine is easy to use, portable, and lasts all night! We charge it everyday so I am not sure how long the battery lasts, but it runs all night and on the occasion we have forgotten to charge it, it still works the next night as well.

I travel a lot and keep several noise machines on hand in my various bags. This is my newest one to try, and it blows the others out of the park! I will be buying more of these little guys to replace the other models. It's that good! I recently brought this on a trip where I knew housekeeping would be cleaning while I was still sleeping. I put this on the door handle and it managed to cover up all that noise! While it doesn't have a battery-powered option, it keeps a charge for several nights of 7+ hour sleeps, and charges quickly. Many noise machines are quieter as the battery drains, but I noticed this one didn't do that. The final item in the PROS category is that this thing is TINYYYY! It takes up almost no room in your bag and you can even use the hook to attach it to a bag strap or suitcase if you need.

I liked sound machine overall, my only suggestion is you have to hold the off button too long to turn it off. However , I gave a low rating because it only lasted about 7 months of use, and then it stopped working. It was only used up to a few hours per day leading up to it not working anymore.

I bought this for a trip knowing that my partner’s snoring would ruin any chance of sleep I had. The Hush is already used by my sister for all 3 kids and my partner and I sleep with a big air diffuser in our room that mimics white noise, so I figured I’d try it. I ended up sleeping with it right next to my pillow on vacation and it put me to sleep faster than the diffuser we have at home! If you’re an adult with high sensitivity or need a portable way to drown out some snoring (I also use earplugs), this is a great device to bring with you. Highly recommend and great for the price, too!

Do not buy. After 6-week sleep regression we were desperate for a solution. Bought this at local target rather than waiting for shipping. Even if you as a new parent are in a rush, take the time and purchase a different brand. You will be dealing with it later anyway. This product has a known defect that after some time the power button stops working. The design of this product is poor. It is a click-hold to turn on. I think the microcontroller inside has poor programming instead of a defective mechanical switch. Further indicating this is the manufacturer's note that the product has to be removed from charger and turned off at least every 14 days (we charged and operated unplugged each day as instructed, have not even owned it two weeks). This is really strange request from YogaSleep because there are lots of products that can operate continuously. In my prior career as a product designer, we made similar products that operated and charged for ~2 years with no issues. I am very disappointed in YogaSleep for continuing to sell this product with a known defect.

This is the sound machine we have used with our first and it is great! We never bought anything else because it isn't needed! This can plug in for at home use during the night and then easily grab it and go for napping away from home. Not sure why anyone would buy one for at home and one for on the go when this can just do it all. We've also had our first one for over 3 years and it is still going super strong and we use it EVERY night for 9 plus hours!

We have been using this sound machine for 12+ hours a night for over a year and it’s still going. As long as it’s fully charged at the beginning of the night, the battery lasts all night. We haven’t had problems with it dying in the middle of the night or stopping randomly like other reviews.
