Would not repurchase
Bought this a few years ago and it was great after a bit of a learning curve. Recently, it has stopped working and won't cut to open the cans now. I trust the quality and longevity of the brand's products, however, I will not repurchase this product to replace. I've had cheaper can openers that have lasted longer.

Safety
I bought this can opener years ago. It looks so pretty hanging on a magnetic hook on the fridge. I used it a few times and didn’t like it all that much. Mostly because I could never figure out how to use it, lol. Now that I do, I can’t go back to using anything else. I am the king of gadgets. I have tonnes of useless gadgets. This is so good, I’m going to get another one as a spare when they go on sale. The can opener leaves no sharp edges whatsoever (both can and lid). That alone makes this can opener one of the best.

Great for a year
Works great initially, but after about a year this started creating metal shavings around the entire can when opening (see images). Handle is also a bit small requiring more torque than most similar can openers I've had. Last one I had (the reason I bought this one) the cutting wheel just wore down and wouldn't cut into the can far enough, I wouldn't expect the sign of wear on this one to be metal slivers stuck in your fingers for weeks -- but it apparently is.

I have bought this can opener for a few years but I seldom use it. I bought it becoz of Zwilling brand. But now it doesn’t work, it either can’t open the can or just open it half way. I ask for warranty but it says NO. So I’m so disappointed with this brand again. I have a no brand can opener which I have been used for than 20 years but it still works.

Great Can Opener---leaves a smooth edge and great for pet food cans
Awesome can opener and it works on dog food cans (that are extra thick). Of course it needs to last 15 years for the cost to equate to 15 cheap butterfly openers but it is easier on arthritic hands and leaves a very smooth edge. If you own a pet and need to open cans daily, this is worth the money.

easy to use
This can opener cuts through the side rim so no sharp edges. The magnet keeps the lid from falling into the can after cutting. The construction is comfortable to hold and sturdy.
