Annie Selke - Dash & Albert Jute Handwoven Natural Rug, 9x12, Natural

The rug is well made, a beautiful creamy color pallet that brightens up any space. I placed mine at my front door that is protected by the sun/rain and I have gotten compliments on it from everyone who sees it. It has warmed up the space in an organic way and a huge improvement to cover some of the cement walkway. I have a white oak front door and this rug looks like it was custom made for me!I also got this rug in a 2x3 size for inside for my dog bowls. It also looks beautiful in that space. I have a newly remodeled kitchen and this beautiful rug has fit in perfectly.

I wanted a thick sturdy entry rug and this for the bill. Love that's it's a lighter color.

This rug is placed at our back door which does receive high traffic. It is so soft and beautiful. It is of the highest quality and the color is gorgeous. No scratchy feel or shedding. I was thrilled with its quality, color and texture when it arrived. No curling at the corners. Lays perfectly flat.

I bought this rug to go in front of an inside door going to the outside. Unfortunately, the pile was too high, and the door would not open with the rug in front of it. Fortunately, I found another location for the rug in my home and it is very nice.

beautiful workmanship on woven jute rug

The veranda jute rug is absolutely gorgeous. For indoor/outdoor it is thick and soft. The look is very sophisticated compared to the thin plastic outdoor rugs. I highly recommend this rug. It is so durable.

I always love Annie Selke carpets but this one wasn't 100% up to par. The color was way off. I know it's a natural rug and that can happen but it was oddly yellowish and I've ordered a few rugs from them before and never had this issue. I still love their rugs so will stay with them--but was a little less satisfied this time around.

We are so disappointed in this rug. I wouldn't even give it 1 star. It sheds and gets particles all over our furniture and clothes. I can't imagine what we are inhaling into our lungs from it. It is also very uncomfortable to sit on. Don't waste your money.

I bought the larger size, as others have said, it is unraveling. It started unraveling two weeks after purchasing it. Very very dissapointed.

I agree with all the poor reviews. This carpet is horrible - after a month in our living room it was unravelling and shedding non stop. Looks horrible now, which is disappointing considering the price point. Would not recommend.

I didn't even need to fully unroll the rug to know immediately that it would be returned. I am not sure why I even bought it, after reading all the previous poor reviews, but ultimately I took the risk because I wanted a nice looking jute rug in my living room that wasn't expensive and that could stand up to 2 young boys tearing around our home. However, huge chunks of jute were already loose and unraveling, and there was a mysterious brown crusty substance in places. Return process seems very efficient (I am awaiting pickup), but I suspect this is because they have had to do it so many times.

After much research, I purchased two of these rugs last fall. The aesthetic is lovely, but the durability is terribly disappointing. We have owned jute and natural rugs for over twenty years and I have never seen this amount of shedding. We continue to vacuum every single day and it is still not enough. Secondly, we were concerned about the durability of the large weave and questioned if the design was one that would stay intact. We were assured this wold not be an issue. However, less than two months post purchase the weave started to come undone. This continues at a rapid pace and is most obvious at the ends of the rugs. We love Dash & Albert rugs and own seven of the wool ones throughout the house - all lovely. However, these jute ones are a tremendous disappointment and we question why Annie Selke would continue to allow this lack of quality.

We ordered 3 of the 2x3 natural jute rugs and were terribly disappointed. They were not anything like what was featured in the picture. We've returned them and are still waiting for our credit.

I ordered the 8 x 10 rug for my dining room. It arrived only 4 days after ordering and in great condition. It is slightly longer than 10 feet (I could actually use the extra length). I found that the picture accurately depicts that actual product.

I've had this rug for about 1 1/2 years. It was a splurge but it was love at first sight. I'm as in love with it now as I was when I first got it. It's the most upscale, luxurious jute rug I've ever laid my eyes on (and I've seen many).

I have had this rug in my kitchen for about 6 months. The cats scratch it, the teens spill spaghetti sauce and bbq sauce on it, etc etc, but it still looks fabulous. Will definitely buy another when this one needs a replacement, but that won't be anytime soon.
