Very nice rug, but the wool is shedding a bunch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the NASCO rug in our living room. I think it brings a lovely pattern to the space and it lightens up and brightens up the room. The only drawback is that there is a lot of shedding happening.

The colours is more yellow in person

Fire rug

Great Design

This rug has a great design and I love the hight of the pile. It is not as plush as it looked in the pictures, The quality of the rug is good for the price that I paid during the sale. It is not an investment piece and something that I can see that will last for years, but it is a great accent rug and it adds visual interest to the room. I would have loved if this rug came with an option of higher quality wool and silk. It would have been a 5+ rating.

It’s thick and wool so it does shed and you do have to work at cleaning it, especially if you have heavy traffic or pets. It’s beautiful and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Appalling Odor

The stench coming from the rug even before the plastic wrap is fully removed, is nauseating. I’m debating if I want to even remove it from the packaging and simply return it. It’s as if something died in/on it. It’s still folded and still partially in the plastic.
