Soybean oil-INFLAMMATORY

I was happy when it arrived. I started taking the garlic pills and noticed that my joints began to hurt!? I looked at the Other Ingredients and was shocked and very disappointed that the first ingredient was SOYBEAN OIL! That is a very inflammatory substance! I thought Swanson vitamins prided themselves in selling quality and PURE product! SMH

Caused an allergic reaction

After taking this product, I broke out with thumbnail-sized itchy rashes on my arms and legs. I stopped taking it, and the rashes healed but left brown marks that are still visible after 3 weeks. Also, now whenever I eat anything with Soybean oil or Canola oil, I break out again. It seems the Soybean oil in this product triggered an immune response. I am not sure why a company that sells health products puts oils known to contain glyphosate in their products. To me, that seems counterproductive. I will now discard the two bottles I ordered.

Burns lingering

It should be below 1 star. Because it's too spicy and hot, it burns my stomach and mouth for like 3 days or more. I don't know what's in it, cayenne pepper or what? I will throw this batch away. Good thing that Swanson had agreed to refund my money back on this one. But I can't compare the bad experience with it.

Not Bad

Not as potent as I expected so I'm taking 2 or more times the recommended dose. There is a hint of garlic odor but not strong. People who are looking for odorless garlic need to read the label and the description; this isn't suppose to be odorless garlic.

Not seeing much difference in these except they smell going in and coming out--badly. But they are clean and not gummy like garlic capsules I've bought in the past.

Garlic Works

Garlic is healthful

I try to eat minced garlic from a jar every day, and these capsules are a good addition to my garlic intake. If I had to pinpoint the single best food to eat, it would be garlic.

Garlic, straight up, is the best to use...when you use the deoderized version, you remove that which is most helpful....to me, it lowered my cholesterol substantially to less than 100 along with eating and working out responsibly...
