Swanson R-Fraction Alpha Lipoic Acid - Double Strength 100 mg 60 Capsules

I found that the Swanson regular Alpha Lipoic Acid worked better for me than this product.

got sciatic nerve pain? lower back thru buttock and down thigh, leg to ankle? or only partially if you are lucky. want to stop it? exercises are a good start, along with laying on a tennis ball under the buttock, flat on the kitchen floor helps relieve that pain , but, the only supplement that i have found so far and i have looked and tried em all...has been alpha lipoic acid. works for me and after two yrs of trying, swansons alpha lipoic acid works the best, one, two, sometimes three times per day, regular strength or R.

I use a whole panoply of supplements. So, it's difficult to pick one as to its effect. Right now, some things are better, some are worse.

It appears that it is having a positive affect on the neuropathy pain that has been haunting my wife for years. However, it has only been a few weeks that she has been taking one in the morning and one at night. She tried other advertised products for neuropathy with no improvement. She stated that she still has some pain, but that it is more mild. Hopefully, over time, it will subside even more.

I bought if for my daughter and she developed numbness and tingling on her hands.

It seems to be working fine which means I'll continue taking it for health restoration reasons. The price is right So give it a try.

Misleading...he triple strength is 300 mg but the double strength is only 100 mg (ehat's up with that?)

Did not do do anything---possibly i was not taking enough of the mg. I gave an excellent quality rating because it is Swanson's brand and we know their ingredients are top notch. Satisfaction excellent. Value excellent. Effectiveness fair, but it may just be fair to me. Summary, I likely will go back to alpha lipoic acid. Although not as strong as the R-Fraction Alpha Lipoic Acid, possibly alpha lipoic acid may be more effective for some people. I took 600 mg. of Alpha Lipoic Acid daily for a number of years. I had read a lot about how good it would be for my health, wellness, and longevity. Then along came this R-Fraction version. Everything I read about it said it was better, with more bang for the buck. It had better be, because this is only a 100 mg. capsule vs the 300 mg. and 600 mg. capsules of the straight Alpha Lipoic Acid that were previously available and which I had been using. So far, so good. I always strive to take the finest and most effective form of every nutrient I consume. I notice no difference and still feel great since switching to this allegedly better version.

So glad Swanson offers an R Alpha Lipoic acid. Have had good luck with this product.
