Helping replace gall bladder functions

I love this product! Since I had my gall bladder removed, there have been gastric issues and this has helped balance things out so I stopped have those issues.

Good digestion and then some!!

Not only do these Digestive Enzymes work for helping my stomach do its job, but the bromelain (from the pineapple they contain) helps my brain produce melatonin and I sleep so well as a result!! Double the awesomeness, in my opinion!!!

Break down heavy meals

I’ve been using Swanson Digestive Enzymes as a total "safety net" for my gut, I’m incredibly confident in how they help me break down heavy meals. Honestly, the tablets have a bit of a "yucky" natural taste and could definitely use a smoother coating to make them easier to get down, but the results make that small hurdle totally worth it. I don't feel a physical "kick," but I have peace of mind knowing that my body is actually absorbing the nutrients from my food instead of just letting them sit heavy in my stomach.

Must Have

I've been taking these every day for the past 4 weeks, and I've noticed I am able to stop taking omeprazole more & more often (I've not taken omeprazole for a week now!! and only have a little burning sensation). I will forever and always take digestive enzymes now, as I have heard it's very bad to take antacids. I have a fairly bad case of GERD and have been taking antacids every day for over a year now! I don't want to do this anymore! I must have the digestive enzymes :)

Was about to buy this and found that there is Barley Malt in it. This product needs to Emphasize that it is NOT Gluten Free. No wheat, Barley or Rye.

Oops! I was in a hurry and ordered the wrong product! These are not as good as the Swanson enzyme "nzimes" formula (which I've taken for decades). I did try these, but I do notice that they are not as good.

Not for me

I have taken these for several months and was having stomach troubles like girgling and bloating and constipation . I stopped taking them for a few weeks and troubles went away . Tried them again and sure enough , troubles again . So after a few weeks I tried the swanson digestitol and same thing .

Better than my brand of probiotics!

Actually these work better than regular probiotics for me. With probiotics I had more stomach aches. But with these digestive enzymes, I'm feeling better. And am able to eat a wider variety of foods. ️

This Helps The Family Unload

I bought this for family members who had problems with, um, er, being regular. I haven't tried this myself si i can only give it 4 stars, but it seems to have helped them overcome the inability to do their business daily.

Chewing the Fat

They seem to work better than a number of other enzyme tablets because they do include ox bile powder, which is more efficient for intestinal motility. When ox bile is among the components, these digestive tablets break down fatty food substances and facilitate elimination.
