Q: This leaves their hands free, what do you recommend covering their hands with so they don't scratch themselves at night? Can you tuck the arms in the halo sleepsack?
submitted by plueberry - 7 years ago
A: Hi there, HALO Here. This product can cover any PJ's to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. We do not recommend tucking arms into the halo sleepsack.
submitted byadenandanaisQA - 6 years ago
A: The SleepSack can be worn over any pajamas to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. We would not recommend you tuck baby's arms into the SleepSack.
submitted byadenandanaisQA - 6 years ago
A: This is the Halo Sleepsack, which is designed for babies too old to be swaddled (babies who roll). Halo also makes a velcro Swaddle, which covers the arms and hands. You can always cover hands with mittens to prevent scratching, but our NICU nurses told us that the benefits of letting the baby explore its hands outweigh the risks of scratches, while heal quickly.

Q: How do I tell which Halo swaddles have a TWO WAY zipper? I find the inverted zippers difficult for a squirming baby.
submitted by KSM - 5 years ago
A: "Our products with the two-way zipper will have a zipper cover at the top of the SleepSack. The inverted zippers do not have this cover." answer is not true. i have a one way zipper and has cover.
submitted byJan - 3 years ago
A: HALO here! We've updated all current models to include an inverted zipper. Currently we do not offer a method to determine which SleepSack will have a two-way zipper, so you may need to look at the product images to confirm its zipper style. Our products with the two-way zipper will have a zipper cover at the top of the SleepSack. The inverted zippers do not have this cover.

Love Our SleepSacks!
We have been using these for our baby since he was tiny, and they have allowed him to sleep comfortably while providing us with peace of mind. They work in both the summer and the winter, and I like the ones with the dual zipper because they make diaper changing easy.

Halo Sleepsack
The only sleep sacks I buy! They are light and easy to use with a squirmy baby. The double zipper is a game changer.

Preferred the double zipper.
Fantastic quality, very well made, does not pill, so soft! However, I preferred the double sided zipper, (has been changed to a single sided zipper) - my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

So Soft!
The blue woodland print and the solid light blue both have two way zippers! This is an absolute must have for late night diaper changes. These are so soft, breathable, and warm. Perfect for summer when our ac is set to 71/72 degrees. My baby is four months old and 50th percentile for height; I went with the medium and it fits him very well with room to grow. These also fit perfectly at the neck; not too tight but I don’t have to worry about this accidentally moving and covering his nose/face at night either. Definitely my favorite sleep sack/wearable blankets!

The good zipper
This is the kind with the zipper that has 2 zippers, one going each way (when you put them in it, you zip up from the bottom and don’t have to latch anything

Double zipper no longer
These no longer have a double zipper and the zipper clasp is right under his chin. I can't imagine a worse design.

Huge! Not safe to use and my son is in the range for the medium for length and weight. Disappointing!

Sleeps like a dream
I always thought sleepsacks were a scam until we bought and tried one. My 2 month old baby now sleeps 6-7 hours overnight — and he would keep sleeping if we didn’t wake him to eat! And a momma loves how safe it seems for him. Now, we just need to buy a few more so we don’t have to try to keep 1 clean for every night.

Cozy and cute
Blue woodland creatures are cute. It’s a nice light fabric for that feeling of security but comfortable for warmer nights.

Great except no two way zipper
Great except the zipper. Zipper is only a one way, hard to get it latched on a moving baby and it keeps breaking.

Like, don't love
We have used the Halo sleep sacks for a while, and generally they are good. The zippers are great, and the patterns are cute. I wish the fabric was a little softer and that they were slightly longer within each size. Compared to the burt's bees ones, I feel like they seemed tighter/shorter around little guy's legs even though the sizes seemed very similar!

Best sleep sac!
My son has been using a medium size and we just moved up to the large. He has a lot of room and goes right to sleep. He loves his sleep sac!

Perfect sleep sack
We love these sleepsacks. They fit really well and they aren’t too big in the neck area which is something I’m always checking before buying new sacks since you have to make sure they can’t be pulled up over baby’s face. These are great thickness too because they aren’t too thick but not too thin either. When we use this one we usually dress him in footie pajamas under it and it’s perfect. They also don’t shrink and they wash well. Our last one we used almost every night for several months and it is only just now remotely looking worn. Worth the money!

Great for Babies!
We love these sleepsacks for my daughter! It's especially nice that there are two zippers that zip from the bottom, so no struggling with getting it zipped after a diaper change in the middle of the night!

Awesome sleep sack!
We love the two-way zipper feature. It's a great transition from the wrap-around swaddlers since our little guy is able to turn over onto his belly. We feel these are safer.
