NYX Professional Makeup Lip IV Hydrating Lip Gloss Stain - 0.16 fl oz

This is a MUST buy in your makeup!! I use the shade “Berry Thirsty” as a lip stain, make sure your lips are exfoliated and moisturized before application for long lasting wear all day. I leave it on 10-20 min while doing the rest of my makeup, then wipe the excess gloss for ideal look. I’m obsessed it’s affordable and a new staple in my routine.

Honestly there are a lot better products out there for just a few dollars more. While it is very hydrating, if you wear this as a gloss it transfers all over your teeth and face super super easily, definitely not for long term wear. And if you wear it as a stain it’s not bad, but doesn’t stay longer than 4-5 hours max. The color of the product on the tube is not the color of the actual product. Go lighter than the shade you’re looking at. I got the rose color and it’s a lot deeper than the color advertised.

Extremely pigmented and the formula stays longer than a typical lip gloss. I have pigmented lips so I don’t notice a huge color stain after it wears off, but I really like this.

I got the shade “berry thirsty”. I absolutely love this, especially that you can have color without having anything on your lips (I hate the feeling of lipstick). It stains quickly, lasts a long time, and is very bright. Highly recommend!

Long lasting and does not dry out your lips!

I followed the instruction, and found out that the color won't stay long as adveritesed. Also, it is not adding any hydration to lips. The only thing I like about it is the color, because it is very soft color.

I tried to get a natural color. It’s not as pink and more brown than pictured on the reviews and models. I should have went with my gut and the color on the tube. Not a bad color just wasn’t what I always aiming for. Feels amazing on not sticky

I have purchased 3 of these in shades Dripping in Rose, Hydra Honey, and Blush Rush. I have not found my ideal shade, but I do really like the formula! I've been looking for something like this for a while. The gloss applies smoothly, is hydrating, and is highly pigmented. I like the pointed applicator as it gives me more control of where I place the product. The gloss itself lasts a suprisingly long time. It looked fresh for about 3-4 hours, after drinking coffee and eating a meal normally. This is the first non-matte lip product that lasts more than an hour for me! I really hate the feeling of matte lip products so I am grateful that this product seems to do the trick. The stain is lasting. I appreciate that as it fades, it fades uniformly. I hate getting that lipliner-only look that comes with other products as they fade. I don't have this problem with this product. My only two complaints: 1) the stain doesn't resemble the gloss. This is fine if you're wearing otherwise neutral makeup or clothing, but can look wonky if you're going for a specific look. No biggie though. Reapplying solves this issue. and 2) I'd like more shades. I'd love a color similar to Clinque's Black Honey.

This lip formula lasts for many hours. It is so nice to not apply constantly.

Fantastic texture, lightweight but well pigmented. I have full lips and this doesn't migrate into my lip creases, the stain effect is genius and both the gloss and stain are very long wearing. I've already purchased backups of 2 colors and I absolutely LOVE these dual purpose lip iv's

I’ve had the hydra honey for a while now and I love it!! I have light olive/neutral skin and this is my perfect shade…please never discontinue! For a low-key natural application I’ll just apply it in the across the center of my lips and rub my lips together up and down and side to side, feathering and cleaning up the lip line with my finger. I’ll also just swipe some on my finger and pat it on my lips for a very natural application too. LOVE THIS TONE.

This Lip IV lip gloss stain is sooo hydrating. You instantly feel the hydration the second the wand touches your lips. I was so impressed! I absolutely love their way these smell. They smell like coconuts, so delicious. I like the pigment on these. You can either leave the lip gloss on or dab it off after a few minutes and be left with the stain. I always like to dab it off and put some balm over it. I am very happy with these that they made their way into my pro makeup kit!
