Q: In Step 6 of the manual it says to screw in the back and front rails, but there are no pre-drilled holes on the wood part that supports the cushion. Are the screws supposed to create their own holes?

Disappointed with Quality and Support

I bought 2 sets of these stools. None of them had the pre-drilled holes needed to attach the seat. The manual shows screws, but there’s no place to put them. I contacted customer service. At first, they said it was a defect and offered replacement parts. Later, they told me to drill the holes myself. Very frustrating. I shouldn’t have to modify brand-new furniture. Super disappointed! Would not recommend.
