My kids have an absolute blast with this, mostly shooting magna tiles down because they aren't allowed to shoot each other yet. Operation is pretty simple with loading and pulling the spring back.

Better with two guns

I gave this to my nephew and he liked it but should have bought two as the recipients of his aim did not appreciate being unable to fight back. I also was told it could use more darts as it was easy to misplace them. My suggestion is to buy two guns and extra bullets

Darts are soft but firm so although the it has good force shooting out it didn't do damage from a distance but you do need to be careful. The quick flip action was great! I think that the 14 + age recommendation is spot on!

I had noticed the 14+ age recommendation on it but didn't think much of it til I tried to sneakily shoot my daughter with it. Thankfully I missed because the dart goes FASSST!! It's demurely not something to shoot indoors, but you can get some good range on this little thing. You have to reload after every shot, and thats the only thing that is slightly bothersome.
