Q: Trying to figure out how to make this rug lay flat on the edges. We bought two for outside and they curl on the long edges. I shouldn’t have to use tape… any suggestions?

  • A: Please see below for general instructions on how to flatten your rugs: How to lay out your rug: Place the rolled-up rug on the floor and lay flat. For rugs that don’t include a non-slip back, we recommend adding a rug pad first. Vacuum the rug surface without a beater bar (spinning brush head) to remove shed fivers and flatten the rug further. Flatten curled corners either by reverse rolling or placing a heavy stack of books to weigh them down. To remove creases, place a damp cloth over the creased area and gently iron over it to help relax the wrinkles. We highly suggest getting a rug pad for your rug. This will help tremendously in avoiding curls, creases or warps as well as following the instructions above.

Q: We bought two of the rugs- different sizes for our patio. We’re having a hard time getting the edges to lay flat. Any suggestions. We don’t want a pad and really don’t want to use tape. I’m worried people will trip on the edges.

    Looks amazing

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The area looks amazing in my sun room. It laid it out for a day to help it from rolling back up then I used carpet tape at the corners just to be safe since my toddler trips over everything. The rug is easy to clean and looks and feel high quality. I’ve had a few people ask where I got the rug from.

    Great indoor outdoor rug that’s pet friendly

    This rug looks more gray/black then olive. The pattern doesn't look the same as advertised. I also ordered 3×5 and it is a whole inch and a half shorter on top and bottom
