ButcherBox obsesses about high quality standards, so you don't have to, and delivers meat and seafood you feel great about eating and serving, right to your door.

Your meat is frozen for freshness and delivered in an eco-friendly, insulated box designed to maintain safe temperatures using dry ice as needed. The amount of dry ice is tailored to your location and delivery timing, ensuring your order arrives refrigerator cold (below 40°F).

When delivered on time and retrieved within 6-8 hours of delivery (or sooner depending on your local climate and season), your ButcherBox products should arrive refrigerator cold—below 40°F as measured with a food thermometer. Your meats could arrive partly frozen (solid) or frozen and can be placed in the freezer for later use.

Always place frozen meats on a tray or dish when thawing and follow the USDA recommended safe thawing guidelines.

Butcher box full of tasty meat!!

I was super impressed with this box of meat! The ground beef was really easy to cook up and the consistency and flavor was great. The bacon was the best I’ve had in a long time and very little fat on it. It was perfectly flavored. The chicken sausage was really tasty as well and cooked well on the stove top. The other items are vacuumed packed pork chops, steak tips and the frozen chicken breasts which came in a ziplock bag frozen individually which is convenient! I received an incentive to write this review.

Tasty and delicious trial box

Grocery shopping can be such a daunting task, especially with two small kids, but I am always looking for high-quality products which can be tough. Ordering a trial Butcher Box through Target is helpful because it allows me to try out their subscription without fully committing, which I appreciate as a consumer! I was pleased with how they packaged everything thoroughly with a lot of ice so that everything remained frozen, and it included a lot of variety. Everything tasted delicious and was surprisingly really fresh tasting. We had a great burger night, trying out the grass fed beef and everybody, including my kids said it tasted better than any restaurant burger they’ve had! I’m glad I could try out Butcher Box first and plan on re-ordering. We did dinners with the chicken breast and I loved that they were individually wrapped portion so I did not have to worry about any of them getting freezer burn or prematurely defrosting. I received an incentive to write this review.

Great quality! It was still frozen on delivery

I am very pleased with this item. I have always wanted to try one of these. I really love that these are grass fed beef and organic. The package came sealed well with dry ice so all the packages of meat were still frozen on arrival. I like the variety and quantity that this box held. The quality of the meat is excellent. We had no issues thawing it out and trying the chicken breasts. Highly recommend this box! I received an incentive to write this review.

High quality selection of ethically-sourced meats

This box has a very nice selection of high quality meats. It was packaged very effectively and the dry ice kept it frozen and was delivered on a 90 degree day. I am more and more invested in how product is sourced as I get older and I love that these meats are ethically sourced and don’t use antibiotics. I’d be interested in buying this again, especially because of the convenience of the delivery. I received an incentive to write this review.
