Loved but now questioning…..

Purchased and loved the comforter until I saw a white fabric loop popping out on the top of my tan comforter. I can’t figure out how it got there nor do I want to cut it in case it ruins the comforter. It almost looks like something that was used on the inside of the comforter for padding. Not sure?

Not 100% cotton on the front

Not 100% cotton as it claims under specifications. Pretty annoyed since I decided to pay the high price thinking it would be 100% cotton front and back. I understand the fill is polyester but the item details specifies 100% cotton front and back. Now on the tag of the actual product it says the front is 44% polyester fiber, 30% cotton, and 22% rayon. I have purchased comforters from target before and I know what cotton feels like, this comforter material feels off.
