Three Ladies Sanpantong Sweet Rice is known for its superior quality. It's grown in Sanpatong region of Thailand. It is long-grain and contains 100% sweet rice (some brands could mix in a regular rice which you do not want!). Sweet rice or glutinous rice and sometimes is called sticky rice is grown mainly in Southeast Asia, East Asia, Northeaster India and Bhutan. It has opaque grain and is sticky after cooked. It is gluten free unlike the normal rice. There are different varieties of glutinous rice, long-grain, short-grain, and black. It is widely used in many different ways, such as accompany a meal instead of rice, as desserts such as the famous Thai Sweet Rice & Mango, or it can be grind into powder for making many different kinds of desserts.
