Q: The description says this is made with jute (rope!) … is this rug soft to the touch under feet? It also says to vacuum without the beater bar, is that just while it’s new and shedding or is that forever?

A: The Natural Fiber Couture NFC104 Indoor rug is crafted with Wool, Jute, Cotton and Polyester. The jute aspect of it is a part of those natural fibers, while it can be used for rope, it is a key material in many of Safavieh's rugs. The care and cleaning instructions are intended to be followed for the duration of the rugs life.
