Affordable reliable battery maintainer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up after my old maintainer finally gave out and honestly couldn't be happier with the switch. I use it on my riding mower, a spare car battery in the garage, and a lithium jump starter pack - it handles all three without any fuss. The automatic shutoff is the real star here. Plug it in, forget it, done. No overcharging, no babysitting, no coming back to a cooked battery. That alone makes it worth the price for anyone storing seasonal equipment. Setup took maybe two minutes tops. The clamps are sturdy, the cord length is actually useful, and the indicator lights are easy to read even in a dim garage. Nothing fancy, but everything feels well built and not cheap. Only real gripe is the instruction manual could be a lot clearer on switching between lead acid and lithium modes, but a quick YouTube search cleared that up fast. Minor thing. For the price point, you're getting a dependable, no-nonsense charger that handles long-term storage like a total champ. Highly recommend it.

Reliable, Compact, and Easy to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Stanley FatMax BC100FX battery charger, and I must say, it has made keeping my batteries healthy so much simpler. What I like most is that it works with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, so I can use it on my car, motorcycle, and even some smaller power tools without any fuss. The charger is fully automatic, meaning I can just connect it and leave — it turns off by itself once the battery is full and switches to a maintenance mode. I also feel safe using it because it includes built-in protections like reverse-polarity safety, so I don’t have to worry about hooking it up wrong by accident. It’s not a super-fast charger, but that’s actually a benefit in my opinion because it gently maintains my batteries over time without stressing them out. The design is compact and easy to operate, which is perfect for someone like me who just wants something dependable without extra hassle. Overall, it’s a reliable little charger that keeps all my batteries topped off, and I feel confident leaving it connected when I’m not using my vehicles.

Good at maintaining
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Efficiency: Does a solid job maintaining charge throughout the day, even in cold weather. It’s been reliable for keeping a rough-shape battery from dying. Accuracy: Readouts and charging behavior seem consistent and trustworthy. No surprises while using it. Setup: Very straightforward — plug it in, connect the clamps, and it’s good to go. Compatibility: Works well with my battery type and had no issues recognizing it despite the battery being older. Expectations: Met expectations overall. It’s not meant for fast charging, but as a maintainer in cold conditions, it does what it’s supposed to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so convenient to have around. It’s much lighter than I expected, and I love that it charges all types of batteries. I’m keeping it in my car trunk for those times that my kids leave the lights on in the car and kill my battery. So nice for peace of mind.

Just what I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little Stanley FatMax is exactly what I needed! The BC100BF to keep the battery in my SUV maintained, and it works great. It handles both lead-acid and lithium, which is fantastic for versatility. You just hook it up and forget it. The automatic smart charging does all the work. The unit feels very durable, and I've been running it continuously without any issues. It runs cool to the touch. no worrying about excessive heat and I trust the safety features completely. It's compact and very easy to read. While it's not a fast charger for dead batteries, it's perfect for keeping stored vehicles ready to go. Great value and a must-have for winter storage or garage vehicles!

It’s a great asset to have on hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Stanley FatMax BC100BF 100 Amp Battery Charger & Maintainer in exchange for my honest review, and I'm glad I did. This charger has proven to be quite useful. One of the best features is its versatility. It works with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, which is fantastic if you have different types of batteries around. The 100 Amp output means it charges quickly, which is a real time-saver. The build quality feels solid. It’s compact and easy to store, which is a plus for anyone who doesn’t want bulky equipment cluttering their space. The LED indicators are straightforward and make it easy to see the charging status at a glance. What I love most is how it handles charging. It does a great job keeping everything topped off, and the automatic shut-off function prevents overcharging, which is really reassuring. I've used it on both lead-acid and lithium batteries, and it handled both without any issues. In short, the Stanley FatMax BC100BF is a reliable and efficient option for anyone needing a battery charger. It gets the job done well and is worth considering!

Must have!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked up the Stanley Fatmax 100A charger mainly for dead batteries and it’s been really handy. It’s straightforward to use, the display is clear and I like that it has both a faster charge option and a maintainer mode for keeping a battery topped off. It’s not tiny, but it feels solid and does the job without extra fuss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had a more insightful review to share. I was excited to receive this; it came in the mail right when I was experiencing car troubles, specifically battery troubles, and I thought it was a sign. I quickly found that this is not convenient as a car engine starter. If you think you can put this in your trunk in case of emergency, you'll be disappointed. The products only works if it is plugged in. The instructions deter the use of an extension cord, but the cords that are integral to the unit are far too short for this to be a practical tool to most people. I gave it 3 stars because in theory, the unit works and does what it says it does, but if I'm honest, I didn't get to try all the features I wanted to because of the inconvenient cord/cable lengths.

Quiet and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stanley charger and maintainer is very nice. I like that it has points where the positive and negative clips can grab on so they aren't loose and dangling. The handle feels very strong. I like how there is a spot for the plug-in cord to wrap up, but I wish there was something that would grab that so the end isn't loose dangling. The screen is very bright and easy to read. The button functions are very simple to understand.

Lightweight and compact insurance policy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and compact insurance policy. Great for batteries that sit or spend time in the cold winter. Great for marine batteries and charges slow and steady to protect the battery life. I love this little trickle charger and maintainer. Highly recommend for batteries that sit for any period.

Strong but confusing instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems like a highly advanced product. However, it is not often I need a maintainer and I feel would be more useful with a jumper. Regardless, it has the cables it needs which makes it super easy to use when needed. The manual is a tad confusing and if it had more clarity would be miles better!

Very useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Stanley FatMax BC100BF 1 Amp Battery charger & maintenance for lead acid & lithium batteries complementary to share my honest experience The build quality is the first thing I noticed — it feels solid and well put together, not flimsy at all. The cables are thick and sturdy, which gives a lot of confidence when using it. I like that it supports both lithium and lead-acid batteries, so it works for different vehicles and tools. The screen is clear and easy to understand, and the buttons are straightforward. It has opposite-polarity protection, which is a big relief because I don’t have to worry about connecting something the wrong way. I haven’t tried jump-starting my car yet, however I honestly feel it will perform really well when needed. The charger runs quietly and doesn’t get too hot, which is a plus. It’s surprisingly portable for its size and feels easy to carry around. The battery life and performance have been solid so far — it charges smoothly without any issues. Overall, it’s a dependable tool to keep in the garage, especially for emergency situations.
