Would not recommend this product.
My recent purchase did not go well. I was very disappointed in the fans themselves and the way they operate. I replaced two older, out of style, Hunter fans from the previous owner of our home. The build quality of the older fans was obviously better. The quality of materials, the strength of connections, the tolerances, the assembly sequence, and the reliable functionality of the old fans all demonstrated that the newer Hunter fans are not as high quality as the old ones. One small example - all of the visible hardware on the old Hunter fans matched the finish of the fan body. On the new fans, they are a white finish, but with a black bracket poking through the housing and brushed nickel fasteners. Also, the entire remote is black and is too ugly to hang on the wall. You’d think it would match the finish of the fan. Another example - the housing was thick and sturdy on the old fans. This was all pretty disappointing - I would likely try a different brand the next time I need ceiling fans. The user interface and operation of the new fans were also pretty disappointing. When first installed it took an incredible amount of fidgeting to get the remote control products to work well. It may go without saying, but there is no way to control the fan except through the remote controls - so it’s important they work reliably. It took hours of checking and rechecking the wiring, replacing all the remote batteries, etc. to figure out that the receivers and remotes worked much better when they were outside the fan housing. And there was a huge difference depending on how the receiver was positioned within the fan housing! Even now I expect the remotes to actually get a control signal to the fan about 80-90% of the time. Even when they are working properly, there is a dissatisfying delay between “signal sent” and the fan’s response. Having had the fans installed for about a month, we've also woken up twice to a fan light that turned itself on during the night... I don't know what to make of that. The wall switch-mounted controls were the most disappointing. A) they work even less reliably than the handheld remote. B) they barely fit into a standard wall plate cover making install a bit of a pain. C) I should have read deeper into the product literature and realized they were battery operated, but what a missed opportunity to power them from the line voltage! Still - I’ll have to remove the switch from the wall every time the battery needs replacing - I find that a really lazy design. If they have to be battery operated, make it so the average person can replace the battery without having to shut off the power at their breaker box. On the old fans you could hear a relay click every time the remote command was received. And it did it every time. I may try to replace these later with Lutron or Kasa controls instead. I do not wish to return the fans because I have sunk more time value into this project than the value of the fans themselves at this point. But I wanted to leave Hunter this feedback - A) for catharsis, and B) so you can hopefully use it to do better in the future.

Misleading Manufacturer
I ordered a Casablanca Fan Model 51333, mostly because I have found Casablanca to be a good duty quality in the past. What I received was a Hunter Model 51333, which is clearly not of the same quality. I understand Hunter is the parent company of Casablanca, but would not have made this purchase if I realize I was going to get another manufacturer. I did not want to make a return so I installed the fan. So far it functions fine, I hope it last.

Great fans. Limited remote options
These are great fans and are made extremely well. However they hang lower than most "flush" fans and they come prepared with the remote so you can not have multiple fans on one remote.

Light perpetually turns off....then back on
Just as so many others have commented, the light turns off, then back again. 10 minutes later...turns off, then back on again.

I converted a can lightening to the fan and needed. But once I got that pretty straight forward and looks great! Love the remote aspect. We have in a covered front porch!!

Sleek Design For Any Space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the modern look of this ceiling fan plus the fact that it can be used indoors or out. We used this under the pergola near our pool to replace the boring one we already had, and it looks great, offering an instant upgrade. The blades are sturdy, the motor quiet, and I like the enclosed light as it adds to the sleek design and is easier to clean. We love the results and plan to get another for a guest room which we just remodeled.

Modern and sleek
I just replaced 3 very outdated fans with these. I’ve only had them installed for a few days but the installation took just over an hour per fan, which seems reasonable. I like the sleek look and they seem quiet when the fan is running. The remote on the white fan is black, which seems sloppy planning by Hunter.

Fan is great...mounting a problem
I think the fan is great and works perfectly. However, the mounting plate with the rubber "shoes" keeps it from mounting tight to the ceiling. Not very attractive!

Lights Flicker and Dim Intermittently
We recently purchased 3 of these ceiling fans for its size and style/look. Our rooms have low ceilings and felt this would suit them well. They look nice in our rooms, however, the lights on all 3 fans flicker and dim on their own intermittently, as though they were being turned off and then back on again. (They were professionally installed by an electrician.) We monitored them to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Unfortunately, the lights are still flickering and dimming in and out intermittently. In addition, the fans wobble at the center when we turn the fan up to maximum speed. We will most likely have to return/replace these as a result.

Nice appearance but functional challenges.
Similar to other customers, the LED light of the Fan constantly goes on and off intermittently and randomly without any user action. The LED light also does not restore to the previously set dimming level when turned off and then on again with the wall switch. It is consistently dimming down to a lower level when power is restored with the switch. The dimming capability on the remote is also frustrating to control as must fully be dimmed ALL the way Up or Down to dim in the opposite direction. These items are making it necessary that I initiate a Return process on this fan.

2 fans purchased and both defective
Purchased 2 of these fans for home remodel. Love the look of the fan, but about every 10 minutes the lights go off then back on like there is a power outage. These were professionally installed by an electrician who handles all the lighting. I purchased in advance so they would be ready when the contractor needed them so now too long for retailer return policy and have only turned them on for the first time today! I need to have this addressed. Also does not give off much air at all and has a loud clicking noise at top speed which might be linked to the other defect.

Design of Fan Great, Functionality, not as much
While we like the aesthetic of the fan, the light KEEPS flickering. Hunter Fan quickly sent us a replacement receiver, but it caused the fan to not work At All.
