daVinci Suzy Recliner and Swivel Glider - Cozy Cream Boucle

My experience is the same as many others. When I got it, had a seam that was beginning to tear. I couldn’t fit this in my cat to return it and Target refused to do a return pickup. I went around and around with Target customer “service” including a supposed head supervisor and they told me I was out of luck. Now the tear is huge and getting bigger quickly. So upsetting. Also, the reclining mechanism takes brute force to close.

Let me start by saying this chair is comfortable as heck. It’s cute, and complimented our nursery well. We spent every night rocking and reading a book in it. We were very gentile with it, I took great care of it because I love it, but in less than a year the seam already started to tear. We’re a year in now, and still using it because again, it’s comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and my son loves it as much as I do but the tear is getting larger. It’s right at the seat end. I read other reviews prior to purchasing and figured the tearing was from misuse but I can tell you we definitely didn’t misuse it - it is a quality issue and hopefully they fix it. There’s no warranty past 30 days so you’re kind of on your own once it tears.

Buyer BEWARE! Awful customer service experience. I purchased this chair on 1/2/26. It was expected to be delivered on 1/9/26, however it did not arrive until 1/16/26. After some consideration, my husband and I decided this chair wasn’t for us. The heather blue was a lot more of a vibrant blue than we were anticipating and the quality was not what we were hoping for. I reached out to customer service on 2/4/26 (only two and a half weeks after receiving the item), and they have refused to allow me to return the item for a refund. I have gone back and forth with both the merchant (Million Dollar Baby Co.) and Target, dozens of emails and calls, and they refuse to budge. Do not buy!!!!!

Very comfortable. Wide seat that even as a tall person I can sit on it with my legs crossed. Didn't realize it wouldn't rock when it's reclined but that's okay. Was a little tricky making sure the back was installed correctly, but the set up didn't take long at all. Good quality for the price!

I want to start by saying I purchased this exact chair a year ago and I absolutely LOVE it. So much so that I purchased another one for another room. I am so disappointed in this most recent chair! The chair from a year ago is so soft and cushioned. This new chair I purchased on 8/5/25 is so stiff, the arms are made smaller, and the fabric is not as soft. It’s so upsetting how poorly this chair is made now.

I like everything about this chair!

It was easy to assemble. Doesn't take up a lot of room. I love the padded arm rests (sold me) and very comfortable. It reclines but keeps you at a somewhat upright position, which I was okay with. Needs pressure to keep recline all the way back. I'm 5'3, heavier set and fit perfectly with no issues. 1yr after purchase it has a slight squeak but nothing a little WD40 won't fix. Overall we love it.

Very poor quality. It seems good at first, but numerous issues came up within the first month of use. It loses cushion support against lower back. You can actually feel a metal bar in the lumbar area. The recline function is junk. The handle on the side doesn’t pop out the leg rest. The chair won’t stay back in reclining position, it pushes you forward when you want to lay back. It’s also nearly impossible to push the leg rest back in with your legs. So difficult when you are trying to get up with a baby. Crazy that this is intended for a nursery rocker! Also the fabric pills and separates at the seams.

I loved this chair until the fabric started unraveling and fraying at the seams. It is very comfortable and I have had no issues with the recline, but after only 8 months of use it started coming apart. Looking at other reviews I am not the only one who has had this issue and it looks like even in the same place on the chair in other photos people shared. Unfortunately we are already out of product warranty since we kept it boxed for months before assembling our nursery. I recommend skipping this one, it's comfortable but it won't last.

It says this chair is GREENGUARD GOLD CERTIFIED and free of VOCs and other chemicals... but it absolutely REEKS of a very strong chemical smell. It gave me an instant migraine, and now my whole apartment stinks (despite a high quality air purifier running). It's horrible. I've never had a chair smell this bad. I put a blanket over it to try to cover up the stink, but now I'll have to dispose of the blanket too because of how bad it smells.

I’ve had this chair for over a year now and waited to review so I could really test it out. Previously I had the Delta Children Middleton and hated it. This chair has NO SQUEAKS!!! Our other two chairs squeaked so loudly no matter how much my husband tried to fix it. Woke our baby up every time. This one is easy to recline and have the foot rest out. It lays really flat and have slept in the chair many of nights with no issue. One thing I looked for in a glider was the ease of closing the foot rest. This one is a tiny bit difficult but pretty easy even with a sleeping baby in your arms. I will say you have to push far for it to click into place so keep that in mind. I’m 5’6” and I fit comfortably when reclined all the way back but would not recommend for tall folks. The cream color has held up, some staining from blue jeans but nothing bad. Easy to clean. The arm rests are comfortably high but I like to use a pillow under my arm when rocking my daughter now that she’s heavier to have more support. One odd thing that I noticed is it collects hair where your head rests and it’s kind of hard to remove. My husband has black hair and I notice it in the sunlight and usually have to get a damp rag to rub the hair off since a lint roller doesn’t help. Was delivered in two pieces and easily assembled. My mom and I were able to shimmy it up stairs (girl power!) so it’s not that heavy compared to some other chairs. Overall I am super pleased with this chair and would recommend to others.

I wanted to love this chair because it was beautiful and soft, but now I wish I could go back and tell myself to run the other way. This chair is awful. With only six months of use with our new baby, the seams are ripping apart. Both my husband and I are average size, and far within the weight limit, but the chair is falling apart nonetheless. Aside from the terrible quality of the material and stitching, this chair is highly uncomfortable for more than a few moments of sitting. The chair will not stay reclined. And if you're postpartum, forget about trying to keep it pushed back at all. Closing the recliner is another huge issue. The leg rest will not go down with simple force and motion. Both my husband and I have to push it down part way, quickly hop out, and then kick it closed upon standing, which is very loud and wakes our baby everytime. If you are considering this disaster of a chair for your nursery or for any long-term or daily use, look somewhere else.

This came in one box, two pieces and very easy to put together. It is nice and slim for small spaces but big enough to fit our needs. It glides very smoothly, very quiet when putting the foot rest up and just a quick little “ping” when putting the foot rest down. It is definitely a great addition to our son’s bedroom for snuggles and reading.

Really enjoyed this chair at first but the material gave in very quickly. We’ve had it less than a year and the seams are coming apart where it reclines. Not very comfortable at all.

I purchased about a year ago and never write reviews, but this chair! I had to! It is literally the most comfortable chair I’ve ever owned/sat in. You just melt right into it. I did a ton of research and shopping around before settling on this one; you can’t beat it for the price! It truly the perfect nursery glider because it reclines as well. The fabric is so soft and I love the color. My baby just turned 11 months and I’m writing this as I rock her to sleep in our favorite spot.

I absolutely loved this chair at first! It is extremely comfortable, but after less than 3 months of use, it’s falling apart at the seams and the spring in the seat is messed up. I’m so disappointed because I really loved it at first, but for the price it is not worth it.
