Definitely does not fit the amount of shoes it says it does (6 in each compartment). Could only fit 4. It also has a huge gap at the bottom of the top compartments—we followed the directions to the “t”. Also took forever to put together just for it to have misleading storage capacity.

Hard to assemble

This item was very hard to put together. Some holes were drilled while most were simply marked. The instructions say not to use a drill gun so it made it nearly impossible to get all the screws in right. Since the pieces weren’t that solid, I did not want to attempt to use a drill. I have put together tons of furniture, including a couch, and this was the hardest piece I’ve ever had to put together. It looks nice, but let’s see how long it will last…

Exactly as pictured

What a cute shoe holder! The instructions are super easy to follow (they’re just pictures) and it looks exactly as pictured. Assembly did take a few hours with doing it all by hand and only being one person but it’s a sturdy, pressed wood, aesthetic piece for the price point!
