Missing Square Metal Chute Cover

Ordered (2), finally opened the boxes. One box was missing the square metal cover for the pellet chute. I emailed the email address listed on their manual, it bounced back. We thought it would not be a big deal missing the metal cover, however, compared to the one that had a cover, the flame would not go big. Plus white smoke started to form. We need the missing square metal cover for the pellet chute shipped to us.
